I'm a bit embarrassed to be asking this after vaping for years, but I've got to be honest: after all this time, I just now stumbled onto the KGO batteries, and I'd never bothered to read about them before. I just assumed they were weak 3.3 volt Ego knock-offs. But lo and behold, tonight I read that they start out at 4.2 volts and the lowest they'll get to is 3.7.

To anyone who's used these, is this accurate in "real life" usage? I was in the market for something like some Vision Spinners, but the KGOs look interesting because they're shorter, cheaper, and I always vape right around 4.2 volts anyway.

I'm mostly curious about how long they stay above, say, 4 volts. Because if they're only that high with a FRESH charge and then quickly dip to 3.7, I'll probably stick with Spinners. Otherwise I may get these instead. Thanks!

Even though no one's replied to my stupid question, I figured I'd throw an update in here anyway:

So from watching Pbusardo I learned that the 4.2 volts is WITHOUT a load, and with anything screwed on it'll fire at closer to 3.7 volts. Still, I'm curious about them.

Anyone out there use KGOs instead of something VV, and is happy with them? I dig how short they are, but would still like to know how long they last at 3.7 before taking a nose dive.

Ive used fixed voltage kgos and they worked great. Having said that when opting for a ego style vv I opted for the Vision Spinner. Reason is the KGO VV has a lame micro usb charger and i already had ego chargers. Second reason was Vision Spinner has higher voltage. Third reason was I did not like the led screen on the KGO VV. Fourth reason I opted for the spinner were the crappy KGO VV reviews.

I'm relieved you said that. I finally placed an order today, and while I didn't go with Vision Spinners, I did opt for Ego Twists over KGO's. I decided that although I'd save a few bucks, I'd really regret not getting something VV. (I have an iTaste and a Vamo and stuff to use at home, so I'd be disappointed to not be able to go above 4 volts while out and about.)
