Can somebody please tell me if it is safe to use a KGO charger with Ego-C Twist 1000mah batteries?

The charger reads:

Desan USB Charger
Input: DC 5V 500mah
Output: DC 4.2V 420mah

The power adapter that plugs into the wall reads:
Power Adapter
Model: QRT-288
Input: AC100V-240V- 50/60Hz 0.2A
Output: 5V - 500mA

I have two of these KGO chargers and I got them from DarkCityVapor
SLB Kgo Spare Charger

The reason I ask is because I want to order a couple of 1000mah Twists, but would like to avoid spending the $15 on a joyetech charger if the KGO ones are compatible. But if it is a concern to use the KGO charger with the twists I will buy one, but it would be nice to use what I already have.

I use my KGO charger for both the KGOs and a 1000mah Ego battery

I've read conflicting answers all over the forum regarding using the KGO chargers on the 1000mah Twist Batts. Some say you can, and others say you can't.

I want to know for sure, because for the price of 2 1000mah Twists and a Joyetech charger, it is pretty much the same price as just buying a Lavatube kit.

Just to be perfectly clear, the specs that you listed in the original post are exactly what should be used on an eGo battery charger, and will be fine for any eGo-type battery that will connect to it.

In general, for safe charging of these batteries, you want a 4.2v charger with a lower mah rating than the battery that it will charge. That means it will take more than an hour to charge it fully, and won't stress the battery because of that.

Okay, just ordered two Black 1000mah Twists from Vaperite.com. Used coupn code VR10, and got them both shipped for $52.86, which is only $26.43 per battery, including shipping! They even give you a free lanyard with every battery that they sell for $7 bucks by itself. Not a bad deal if anyone is looking for a good place to get the Twist's.

I just hope that my KGO chargers won't wreck them or anything lol
