Try sticking a paper clip or push pin in the center hole on the threaded end of the carto and just apply a bit of pressure upwards. Swivel it to the other side and do the same. Just try and get that center post up a little bit, it may not be making contact with the battery. It really doesn't have to come up too much, you probably won't see much of a difference. Don't break it ;).

I have a KGO with both standard (SLB i think they're 3.0ohm) and low resistance (Boge 2.0ohm) cartos. They both hit fine but I think that there is a slight edge to the boge. Definitely from what I have read the BOGE is the newbie carto of choice because they tend to last longer and if you accidentally let it go dry it won't burn through the polyfill as quick as a smoktech. Hope that helps. With a KGO you really don't need a dual coil carto because you don't have the power to hit it with the voltage it excels at. Hope that helps.
