As the title says, thats what I ordered. I decided on that one because I liked the newb factor of it, for someone like myself whom is completely new to this. I'm sure next month Ill be going hog wild, and picking up other devices as well. I ordered a 10ml of regular tabacco jucie as well, and a 30ml of something called Ice Ice that is supposed to be a pretty good menthol flavor judging by the reviews.

SO! Im excited to get going here, and kiss this 3/4 to 1 pack a day habbit goodbye! I sure hope I like that Ice Ice stuff since I ordered so much of it :)

By the sound of it, I think I will be consuming 2-3 mills a day? Seems like what the normal pack a day smoker is consuming from reading around here. But my smoking habbit really didnt justify a whole pack. Id take 5-6 drags off a cig, and then put it out. I smoke outside, and always tried to smoke quick to get it over with. Consuming no more than half a cig each time, and wasting the rest. Reguardless, vaping seems by FAR less costly (unless I decided to go bananas with equipment, and to be honest I can easily see that happening hahahah)

The KGO Vision start kit comes with two clearomizers, and I just left it at that. I wanted to make sure this is going to work for me before investing too much more into it. And this brings me to another question.

How hard was it for all you smokers to completely stop smoking, and swap to vaping? Did any of you find yourself going back and forth for a week? Or was it instant satisfaction? I'm personally extremely excited to try the on going of flavors out there. Some of them seem amazing!!! Bacon Flavor?? Really??? hahahaha

Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you for welcoming here to this forum. I must say at first the info was VERY overwhelming, but am catching on to all the lingo. A lot of you were extremely helpful on my post yesterday, and I apperciate that very much. I hope to stick around, and share my vaping experiance with you all in the coming future. I see this becoming a ridiculously fun hobby, and am so ready to ditch smoking.

Ya done good Ryan! The KGO is a great device to start with! If you find you want more, you know it's 'out there'. You will probably find that you vape more than you smoked. Alot of people do this because nicotine absorption via PV's is different from analogs, and it's a new 'toy' that you want to play with! Some of us have gone straight from ananlogs to vaping immediately, and some of us have tapered off...but we've mostly all eventually gone to strickly vaping eventually. So if you don't immediately stop the analogs don't worry, you'll get there! At your own pace. Welcome to ECF!! Can't wait to here how you like your KGO once you get it!

When I got my first PV, a small cigarette type model, I told myself I would slowly convert to vaping, but with no set time limit. It didn't work out for me because I treated it like a toy, I would lose my batteries, they wouldn't be charged, etc., and eventually I never touched it. About a year later I woke up one morning and for no reason decided that I was never smoking analogs again. I got an eGo and haven't touched an analog in over a month.

If I were to do it over, I would have allowed myself 2 or 3 cigarettes a day for a few weeks because I was pretty miserable the first week or so. Do whatever works best for you, but personally I recommend at least making a strict limit on how many cigarettes you have a day and gradually cutting down to zero, otherwise you may slowly revert back to smoking more and more while your PV is scattered around in your room. But that's just my personal experience, everyone is different.

You'll like the Kgo that's what I have.I also have some stardust (clearomizers) and they are easy to use. You might also want to get some Boge 2ohm or Smoke Tech 1.7ohm cartomizers. For me the juice just doesn't have the full flavor with the clearomizers, others say it taste the same.
As for getting off the smokes,I smoked for over 35yrs and haven't had one since my first vape. That was almost 3mo ago.
But everyone is different,so take it at a pace that makes YOU comfortable. And be happy for every smoke you didn't have!

I immediately quit the analogs when my 1st kit arrived and some folks continue smoking and make a slower transition - we're all different. The difficult part is not going bonkers on hardware and finding the juice(s) you like. Once you stop smoking completely, your sense of taste comes back and you may find you do not like the juice(s) you started with. I was a 2 PAD menthol smoker for 35 years so of course I focused on menthol flavors - that ended pretty fast. I keep some peppermint around for an occasional vape but I rarely use anything even remotely related to cigarette flavors. For the past week or so, it's been caramel apple and cherry coke for me...

Congratulations on your purchase and the decision to quit! The hard part is over, and now you just have to find what works for you. Your starting out with a good kit I can tell you that. I started with a cigarette look-a-like that was great at first... until I started having trouble with battery life and cartomizer issues. So I ended up picking up smoking again for a few months, but it just wasn't the same after vaping for a while. When I picked up my PV again, I made the decision to stick with it. I found some people who had done their research and I upgraded to an eGo 650mah. It worked great, but the battery life still wasn't what I needed. So, finally, I bought a kGo kit, and I couldn't be happier.

It's good that you are starting out where you are instead of going through all that trial and error. The kGo is good. Not that you can't upgrade in the future.

Great choice of PV!
I second the advice of getting a few cartomizers. I love the vision tank with my Kgo, but when I'm out and about I always use a cartomizer because I'm afraid to put a tank in my pants pocket.

As far as quitting analogs, don't stress. It's different for all of us. I smoked for 35+ years. I tapered off to 3 a day (meals) in the first week and stayed there for a few weeks. The last hurdle was my morning cig. One day I just decided to pass it up in favor of my PV and have been analog free ever since..

Good luck!

Ryan, congrats on the KGO purchase. I've got one and I like it a lot. I think it's almost a perfect choice for a brand new vaper: (1) it's not expensive, (2) it comes with two batteries so you can always have one fully charged and ready to go, (3) it's dependable, (4) you don't have to have an engineering degree to figure it out (especially for new vapers who are already overwhelmed without thinking about ohms, amps, volts, etc.), and (5) it uses a standard 510 connection so accessories are widely available.

I agree with blkhwk07 that you should get some cartomizers. The ones he named would be great. You can buy a 5-pack for $7.00 or so.

Also, try sample sizes of juices in various flavors until you figure out what you like. Lots of vendors are having Memorial Day sales with 10 - 20% off. I just ordered a bunch of juice from ECBlends this morning. Using their coupon (coupon code 10020), you get 20% off. That makes their little 5ml sample sizes just $2.00, so you can afford to try several.

On quitting smoking altogether, it works differently for everyone. Some get their PV and never smoke again. Others taper off - some more gradually than others. I tapered off quickly. I smoked 4 the first day I had my KGO, 2 the next day, 1 the next morning, and none thereafter. I'm going on 9 days, and I don't even want one. When I get an urge, a couple of vapes and I'm good.

I still have half a pack of camel menthol lights sitting around. The thought of smoking one occasionally crosses my mind, but I tell myself that I just need nicotine, hit my PV and all is good. Quitting has been completely painless for me, much in contrast to past attempts with pharmacy nicotine replacement.

I smoked for the first two weeks I vaped, mostly because I was still in the process of discovering/acquiring my favorite juices and accessories. Once I had all that squared away, I just kind of lost interest in smoking. When vaping and smoking concurrently, I soon learned that I simply preferred vaping over smoking.

Actually quitting smoking was rather painless. The only symptom I had was a rush of energy due to the increased oxygen levels in my system, but none of the agitation normally associated with quitting.
