Kick'ed Grand question

I'm sure this has been addressed here, but I don't have the patience to read hundreds of pages. If I just get some copper wire and attach one end to the bottom spring of the Grand and one end to the spring of the Kick, it will work? What gauge wire do I need? Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

You dont need to wire anything, all you have to do is sand off some of the anodizing where the Brass ground spring touches the upper right inside of the box, Done deal, works fine.

I did it that way for a while I just used a little bit of speaker wire
