I messed up again! I ordered an auto batt in red (regular size) because I was dying to get my hands on a real red battery..not the tomato/orange red one. I didn't pay close enough attention to what I was ordering and picked auto instead of manual! Darn sales deadline!
There is nothing wrong with an auto..I just prefer manual. But the red is pretty, metallic red. with a pink LED (thanks guys!) I guess I will wait for the exrta long red to come out and check and double check that I order the manual!
Oh and who messed with the RY4 formula again! Somewhere between premium hardcap (perfect) and the new premium softcap.(not as good, but not as bad as the old one.)

I just received some manual batteries that I bought used from another forum member. I didn't think I'd like them, but I like them better than autos I agree with you there

I'm waiting for the extra long red to come out as well Maybe Leaford will see this board and let us know if we will be waiting weeks or months

I like manuals for refill verification only. Using them for more than a few minutes hurts my fingers. I had one that was an easy button to push but a fall killed it and the replacements I have ordered since have really stiff buttons.

Autos are great once you realize that each cart has a different airflow need. Little strips of notched cart condom material that can be moved up or down to allow more or less air make all the difference.

Just so you know, the reg. auto is the only one that comes in that pretty, deep metallic red. They don't have it for any other batteries .. I tried ... all the others are that tomato orange-red ..

The regular manuals are tomato red, and the regular autos are metallic red.

We will be getting metallic red XLs and regulars in both auto and manual, but I can't give you an ETA on them.

I'm still waiting... as patiently as I possibly can

Sorry MK... not yet. The manuals were supposed to be metallic, and all of the XL reds were supposed to be metallic, but when we received them, they were the tomato red.

Well darn I just ordered a red manual...and I wanted metallic red realllllllll bad. Oh well.....I will be ok.
