I work in the motor vehicle painting and repair industry.
I carry me "puffer" in me shirt pocket, so I can grab a few hits here and there.
Well as I bent over, it jumped outta my pocket and into the sanding bucket, fulla water, and sanding residue.

I immediately retrieved it, and tossed th' carto. layed the battery up to dry. And used my backup bat. after I got home I tested the "swimmer", and it seemed to work just fine 'till it went dead, I put it on to charge,
and used it this morning with no problem, for a few puffs, then it quit working alltogether. It behaves like the sensor isn't sensing the draw properly.
Is there a fix?
Or do I just need to toss it, and get another?

edit: it's an e-cig mini E9

thanx

I sometimes rinse bare batteries (like the 14500 bare battery, not a commercial battery like comes with a Joye 510) to remove dribbled e-liquid. I haven't killed one yet, so don't think water necessarily hurts a bare battery as long as it's dried out.

Auto and manual 510-like batteries can be hurt by a dunk, though. There have been many forums posts regarding this.
