I vap a joye ego-T. The atty seemed to be hitting hard so I decided to clean both attys with 91% isopropyl. I soaked them from about 15 min while every few min scooping the alcohol up and letting it run through. Then I blew them out with about 20 psi compressed air. Now one of them will not work at all and has zero ohm reading. Any ideas?

Note: The attys are only a couple of weeks old.

The alcohol should dry fast. Let them dry a few more hours and meter them again. If they are still 0 ohms then they are dead for sure. Check your meter on a known good atty, just to be sure.
I never used isopropyl alcohol. I just run hot water from the faucet through them, then a hot water soak, rinse under faucet, blow out, dry for a day or 2, then dry burn the ones that are off when I meter them and repeat the faucet , soak , faucet, dry process. I have lost a few, mostly LR atties from the dry burn.
I have used a vodka soak and crest mouth wash but didn't see better results than hot water.

I basically did the same thing to a 901 atty today (brand new). Except I used hot water and a syringe to try and power wash the factory oils off. After forcing air through with the syringe, I tried to do a dry burn... but now it's dead. I'm hoping there's just some water still inside and it's not permanently dead. It worked fine before I attempted to clean it.
