I've had my M601XL battery for less than a week now. At first it worked fine, but now it is...erratic. Sometimes it takes a few extra seconds to turn off after vaping. Sometimes I have to suck incredibly hard to get it to turn on, or it just takes longer to recognize I'm sucking on it. Sometimes it turns on and off as I'm sucking.

I haven't perfected filling my carts yet, so my guess is that I've overfilled one, and juice dripped in to the battery, possibly clogging up whatever kind of sensor is inside there.

I tried spraying computer duster stuff into the hole, didn't seem to help. Is it possible to disassemble the battery without breaking it? Any tips for cleaning it?

Sometimes just letting them sit in a dry environment can dry them out enough. Some say tapping on the ash/led end will help. I had a ruyan cigar where the same thing happened after one day (although I didn't overfill). I sent it back and it was replaced by heaven gifts. If you think that isn't possible then any 'autopsy' should be carefully done. I'm not familiar enough with the unit to give advice there though. You might do a search for the model and find others that may have run into the same problem.

While I haven't used that particular model, I assume they are similar to the M401 automatics (just scaled up). One issue I always found with those was that if the cartridges were too dry, you would get the issue with the battery activating for a second or two then switching off. They even marketed this as a safety feature. If they were too full (flooded), then it is hard to draw and the battery sometimes doesn't activate at all, or with great difficulty. Just something to bear in mind but hopefully the cleaning will fix the issues. If manual batteries are available for that e-cig they might be the way forward.
