Made my first visit to a Brick and Mortar today so I thought hey why not write up a quick(ish) review.
I have roughly a 30 min drive to either the Charlotte (Smith Corners Boulevard) or Pineville (Pineville Matthews Road) Brick and Mortar locations. while researching the locations realized the Charlotte location was near Northlake and I go to that area more often than to Pineville so I figure finding my way around there will be easier for me so that was the only real factor in choosing the location to visit.
I arrive and the store is quite easy to find. Shouldn't be any trouble for someone to find even if they are not familiar with the area.
I walk in and there is one other customer in the store being helped. The employee who was helping her out greeted me as I entered. There were two more employees behind a counter at the back but not in the main area. I believe they were mixing juice but not sure. one of them came out immediately and greeted me as well. They let me look around a moment and then said that if I needed any help to let them know. I like that. In fact one of my biggest peeves is going into a store and being asked constantly if you need help while you are browsing around. It is nice to be asked but not constantly.
I kind of knew what I wanted when I went in so I did not have many questions. I went in to get Cartomisers for XL tanks. A locking Tank, and Atomizers for sampling juices since I don't want to commit a tank to a juice i may not like.
I told the employee i wanted an Atty to sample juices... she pulled out three and told me the price of them and the Ohms rating on them. Then told me they have a stand where I can sample juices they sell if I was interested. Not in my budget for today to purchase juice but ill probably be back to check that out. I chose to only get 2 since like I said they would be used basically for sampling new juices. I also got 10 fanged cartomisers for use in tanks. The employee asked about Ohms rating so they were making sure i was getting what I wanted. And i picked up a spare Artemis tank just because I was there.
I get home and am ready to sample some new juice I have been letting steep. pop open the wrapper on one of the attys i bought and found that i had not bought any attys at all. I had bought super shorty cartomisers they are 1.7 ohms as the employee told me but not really useful to me since i cant sample different juices on the same one simply like you can with an atomizer. eh... maybe i should have been more clear on what i wanted but my exact words were " I want an Atty to sample juices... something maybe like a 306"
Disappointing, yes... enough to make me never go back... No.
Overall store was clean and inviting. Employee I dealt with was helpful and seemed knowledgeable. when I pulled out my ProVari to check the tank size, Before I even held it up to the end she mentioned that it would probably restrict airflow and suggested a smaller size tank.
Prices were reasonable... a little higher than similar items from online vendors, but I didn't pay for shipping which would have probably made it all come out about the same.
They may not be my end all be all one stop everything I want or need shop, but I will definitely be a returning customer. I plan to visit the Pineville location as well... who knows maybe even later today (since I still want that 306 atty)
