I Clean my joye ego t atty in mostly 70 proof alcohol with little 50 proof alcohol for 20 mins. Than I take distilled water and get it 2 near boiling I let my atty sit in that for another 20 mins. Let dry for 12 hrs roughly. For some weird reason I still taste the previous flavor and I still smell the previous juice in the atty, WHY? Im so confused I thought the alcohol would break the juice down. Any way to fully clean it, I just find it rather weird. Any advice to prevent the smell and taste from previous juices. would be great thanks

The only thing I can think of is trying the water bath three or four times. I've read some threads where that was recommended for cartos, so it's worth a try at least.

I personally use h2o2 (hydrogen proxide) to clean my regular attys and topcoils and it leaves them sweet as honey, but some folks don't like the idea of using it.

The Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartos are getting rave reviews from several posts I have read thus far. The best thing I have had great success with on my Ego batteries is just the regular Dual Coil 2.0 Ohm XL cartos or the Clearos. All my Ego batteries were originally from the Ego-T starter kits I bought but I had similar burning issues and a lot of leaking from the Ego-T Atomizers so I just stopped buying them and replaced them all with Dual Coils and then bought some matching colored cones to go along with them. Just keep in mind that the cones will not fit over the black paper wrapped ones or the clearos without grinding the cone end down a bit otherwise the airflow is too restricted. The Dual Coil Stainless Steel XL's do fit just fine with no grinding though.

Hope this helps you out a bit;

Sure Deal :D These are the ones I get for all of my Ego Batteries.

Mega XL HV 2.0 ohm dual coil cartomizer

Just keep in mind that the cones will not fit over the black paper wrapped ones or the clearos without grinding the cone end down a bit otherwise the airflow is too restricted. Now what exactly do you mean about the black paper sorry but im a little confused

When you see the link above the black paper wrapped ones are the black ones. The paper makes it just too big around for the regular ego cones and it makes the draw really tight, almost impossible without cutting down the cone a bit. The Stainless steel ones however fit perfectly through the cones and the draw is perfect on them. You can use them without the cone though, it is purely cosmetic.

As far as I have heard they are awesome. I have not personally used them myself, the biggest I have used are the 3ml XXL Dual Coils and I only use those on my Go Go Pro with an adapter for Go Go Battery to 510 Cartomizer. I honestly do not need a cartomizer that large because I primarily use my ego batteries for my desert type vapes. My All day vapes go into the Dual Coil Map Tank on my Provari and the 3ml bottle for my SGT VV Army Tank bottom feeder Box Mod.

I have not actually read anything bad about the EMDCC's though so I would say go ahead and give it a shot if you want the large capacity and something that will fit on your ego batteries :D

They can be cleaned, I clean most of my Cartos at least one time before I pitch them in the can. However, depending on what flavor you use will depend on whether or not you can get that flavor out with a good cleaning. I tend to devote one carto to a particular flavor, except for my Fruit flavors. Those are all fairly good together so I will drop some strawberry here and some Kiwi there and maybe a raspberry on top of all that or some blackberry as well and since they all work very well together like a fruit salad they are fine to use the same carto on. However I will not use my Flue Cured tobacco from Pink Spot Carto with anyting but the Flue Cured Tobacco because it is a very strong and persistent flavor, same goes with my Maple Syrup, although the occasional mis of RY4 with maple syrup actually tastes quite good.

As a general rule though it is best to devote one flavor per carto.

Devonmoonshire I truly cant thank you enough really you really are a huge lifesaver. Soon as I get some money Im gonna buy some of these and see if it gets rid of the burnt taste. Thank you so very very much.

O ya one more thing how long on average do those cartomizers last roughly?

Im gonna try and salvage what I can from my atty's and hope for the best. You have your self a good night Im gonna go call it night, and again thank you so much for putting my mind at ease.And helping me decide with which road to take far as modding my joye ego t yours truly Shinobi
