Devonmoonshire I truly cant thank you enough really you really are a huge lifesaver. Soon as I get some money Im gonna buy some of these and see if it gets rid of the burnt taste. Thank you so very very much.

O ya one more thing how long on average do those cartomizers last roughly?

Im gonna try and salvage what I can from my atty's and hope for the best. You have your self a good night Im gonna go call it night, and again thank you so much for putting my mind at ease.And helping me decide with which road to take far as modding my joye ego t yours truly Shinobi

You are so very welcome. I always love to help out anytime I can. I am not sure yet about the Ones you are looking at for how long they last, but I know that with proper "Topping Off" or basically adding liquid to the top of the cartomizer every so often depending on how much I vape, usually about every 3 to 5 hours or so I get at least a month out of my Dual Coil cartomizers, sometimes longer. The important thing to remember on these is that they must be kept wet. Although that means if they die you lose a lot of juice, I believe it is worth it to get a very quality vape with a long lasting cartomizer.

Sincerely;
Nate aka Darth Vapor

You'd be wise moving on from an Ego T atomiser to be honest and it looks like you've got a solution lined up for that. But, for your Ego T and existing problem, have you tried dry burning it?

Nothing has cleaned my ego T atties like dry burning them has. Dry them out as best you can, blow all the juice out and then just pulse your atomsier on the battery. You'll see all the vapour coming off the wick. Keep going until the wick inside the piercing straw is actually red. Pulse it on and off lightly to keep it glowing red for about 15 - 30 seconds and it's as clean as it can be without taking the entire thing apart.

Might keep it going a bit longer until you get something better. Good luck!

thanks guys I really appropriate all the input just a quick update when I used my atty that tasted burnt it still tasted burnt so I dropped 2-3 drops right onto the the peircing wick and it got rid of the burnt taste. I heard if you have it dry burning for 2 long it can ruin it is that true? I plan on getting these when I have extra money. Does anyone know if madvapes is a good site because I did a google search and it seems like there the only site that really sells them. Please let me know if there anygood. If I dry burn them how long should I hold down the button for because I dont wanna break it since I cant afford a replacement at the moment. I hate being poor lol (rather laugh about my situation than cry, crying hasn't gotten me anywares only a serious stress attack that highens my pain levels IDK, fibro and CP and scholosis horrible combo. that puts me in the ER) but enough about my personal probs thanks again everyone for your input really thank you

..... so I dropped 2-3 drops right onto the the peircing wick and it got rid of the burnt taste. I heard if you have it dry burning for 2 long it can ruin it is that true?

That means you have wicking problems rather than something burnt. As juice vaporizes, it has a cooling effect on the coil. If the coil gets a bit starved, you get the dreaded 'dry hit'. I do it all the time, because I like to vape 3 or 4 quick puffs, set it down for awhile and repeat. I'm using a top coil and fairly thick juice, and if I go to fast, I get the 'dry hit' and it actually hurts the back of my throat sometimes lol.

Since adding liquid cures your problem, there's no need to dry burn. If you'd like to try it, I suggest waiting until you have some new cartos in hand just in case. It's very easy to pop a coil when dry burning. (voice of experience here lol.)

Madvapes is a very good vendor and they have a lot of my vaping dollars lol. I don't recommend those cartos for anyone on a budget though. They're good performers and you'll probably like them, but they 'use up' your battery faster as they decrease the time between recharges. The cartos themselves are pretty singe resistant and usually last 4 or 5 days or longer.

I recommend these. Bauway 510 XL CE2 Style Clear Cartomizers, 2.5 ohm, 5 pack

They're not perfect by any means but vapor production and taste is excellent. They last for weeks instead of days, and none of the ones I have has pulled loose at the bottom or cracked. I use them by pulling all the top plugs, filling down side of the ceramic, and putting on a drip tip for a mouth piece. They wick good, but can give you the dry hit if you chain vape, unless you remember to turn them upside down and back up between rapid vapes. HTH, and best of luck. Happy vaping.

I Clean my joye ego t atty in mostly 70 proof alcohol with little 50 proof alcohol for 20 mins. Than I take distilled water and get it 2 near boiling I let my atty sit in that for another 20 mins. Let dry for 12 hrs roughly. For some weird reason I still taste the previous flavor and I still smell the previous juice in the atty, WHY? Im so confused I thought the alcohol would break the juice down. Any way to fully clean it, I just find it rather weird. Any advice to prevent the smell and taste from previous juices. would be great thanks

If you insist on absolutely no leftover aftertaste, then I suggest disposable cartos.
