Smoke bothers me sometimes still. My husband still smokes, now more outside (like 90%) since one of the kids moved back in for a while (a non-smoker)and my hubby is not ready to try vaping yet. The reason I started vaping because I was not going to stand outside all day smoking and I wasn't ready to quit without having a viable replacement...I might have killed somebody without having e-cigs...(would that be justifiable homicide?)

Its really amazing how when you smoked, you never gave much thought to the smell or oder.
Then when you quit for a time....you think to yourself....i use to smell like that!!!!
I never mention it to anyone....as i use to be a smoker....but im sure glad that im a vapor'er now!

Can't stand the smell of analogs now.....nasty!!! My wife does like it now when I give her a kiss goodnight after chain vaping cotton candy or coconut twist!!! Yummy

Funny thing is I don't dislike the smell of cigarette smoke the way most ex-smokers do. Am I unique or do others that vape feel the same way?

You're not alone. Sometimes walking by a waft of smoke smells good to me, too.

I don't mind the smell of smoke, just the taste of it now. Finally managed to "get something started" with this girl from work.. she always smelled like sweet vanilla to me around the office (I know I'll look into my vanilla fetish) and the actual date was lovely.. the goodnight kiss almost made me sick
I really don't mind the smell of smoke or being around smokers (yet?) but the taste was horrible, but as mentioned.. I got a kiss and a second date so I shouldn't complain

PS. If the post made me sound like a schoolboy with a crush it's cause I've been out of the dating scene in a while after a bad break up.. so I'm really only just getting my "dating legs" back

I have been vaping for 16 months and really started noticing the nasty smoke smell was beginning to bother me after a year. I hate to get in to an elevator with someone that just came off their smoke break. I love not smelling like that anymore...vapers rock!!!

I try to keep in mind that I was once in their shoes so I don't make a big deal about people smoking or smelling like smoke. But if you're kissing someone thats completely different. Yay for vaping indeed.

My Fiance still smokes a few analogs daily... she will smoke outside, so I dont really notice it, but when we kiss after she has had one tastes like ashtray....... But I love her and will put up with it no matter what.......
