Kit Arrives... Now What?

So our first kits are going to arrive today! Hooray!

So, I have ordered the fiance not to do anything until I get home... Because I want us to do this together. (Awww!)

So, as a soon to vaper, I ask for advice on setting up.

We got the Joye eGo kits from Liberty Flight, which included attys and pre-filled carts. I ordered cartos and XL cartos. juice will arrive today along with syringes.

Now... what the heck are we suppose to do?

This might seem silly to ask, but I know what's going to happen. I'm going to get home, see all our stuff, and behave like a kid in a candy shop. ("Ooo, what's this? Wow, that juice smells good, let's vape it! Wait, I wanna try this one too! Ooo, shiney!")

In the interest in not screwing up cartos or the carts and atty or screwing up and hating my first vape, could someone walk us through? Is there a step-by-step Sticky or post somewhere?

This might already be on ECF, but I'm running out the door for work, and want to see if I can get some info for tonight!

Some of the best information I've gotten, because I'm more of a visual person than a literal person, I got off youtube. Seriously, you can search Joye eGo on youtube and get step by step instructions for everything you want to know.

However, one thing I would sincerely suggest would be for you to charge your batteries while you're at work, that way you won't be let down by a dead battery in the middle of your excitement!

I understand wanting to share all of the excitement with your hubby, however you have to charge the batteries when you get them. If you want to VAPE together when you get home, you ought to let him open them up, and put the batteries in the charger, so both of y'all can VAPE to your hearts content!
Now to get ready for vaping, take ALL of your Attys, and hold a paper towel, or toilet paper under it, and BLOW HARD through the top, the primer will come out of the bottom, where the screw area is, then drip something like 4 drops of a tobacco juice in the top of the atty, let that sit for a minute or two, and then blow that out too. Do that one more time. Then next time drip the 3-4 drops of juice in the atty, and just let them sit right side up all day "priming"

The most important thing I would suggest is following the earlier post about blowing out the atomizers before use.

I did want to kindly say.... Juice dose not seam to have a sent to me. It could be different for you I suppose I'm new to all the too. But I smell every thing now more scents then I ever remember out here in the clean air. The vape just dose not have an odor to me... Be prepared your nose is about the wake up...

You don't have to charge the batteries when you get them. They ship with an 80-90% charge on them already. Just put one on the charger, set up the other one and vape your head off immediately! Go ahead and try the prefilled carts, but be warned that they will probably taste like hammered crap. Some people like them, but most don't. You can always just take the filler out and rinse it and the cart under some hot water, then dry them off and refill them with more tasty juice. Oh, and sometimes the carts are overstuffed with filler. I would always just take out the filler and cut it in half. They seemed to wick better that way and I didn't have a whole lot of problems with leaking.

Regular soft cap cartos are super easy to fill and no syringe required. Just pop off the cap with either a pair of tweezers or a straightened paper clip and drip juice on to the filler. Usually 20-25 drops will do it. Try to avoid getting juice in the middle tube. It's not a big deal if you do, but it might come out of the threaded end. If you hold the carto at an angle and drip the juice down the sides like you're filling a beer glass that will help. Just be patient, take your time and you'll be a pro at it in no time!

Congrats on getting your pv! Woot woo. I don't blame you for wanting to do this together-LOL. It will be fun.
As womanofheart says though, those carts may not be filled with juice you like. Just pull the filler out with tweezers and rinse it good, dry it with a paper towel and drip about 10 drops of liquid into the cartridge and re-stuff with the filler and drip a few more onto the filler. I have a 510 ego video where I fill/refill carts and give tips on doing so. Good luck and you two have fun. Take the first few puffs nice and easy.
Blow out those atomizers and prime them before starting!
