I hate deceptive descriptions of whats in cigarettes almost as much as I hate the deceptiveness of the tobacco companies themselves. Its CLAY. That is what "kitty litter" is. I hate every stupid list of things in cigarettes I've come across. Yes, tobacco companies have dog poop farms. They put urine and dog poop in cigarettes. And now kitty litter as well. And anti freeze, arsenic powder, and car exhaust.

Well, I'm just glad to know that I'm not puffing away on clay anymore. I know some Kitty Litter is scented so I hope the cig. companies weren't using pure litter, but just the clay. I think they also use ground corn cob as well.
Anyhow, it is now a non-issue since I vape so now only have to worry about Hexavalent Chromium in my stainless steel mesh wicks.
Always seems like there is something dire to worry about.....lol.

You know....
When I quit smoking, I kept my unused cigs...just as a reminder and to help with my will power.
So, I'm glad I read this.
I no longer need to keep them around, so I'm thinking I will spend the afternoon crushing them and lining a litter box for my neighbors cat cause she doesn't seem to have a litter box. Her cat uses the area under my window.
Great idea.
lol and hee hee hee

Everything is about getting more money. Big corporations will stop at nothing to see as fit to benefit them. It is all business, we just over look the boundaries at which "we the people" are getting screwed over. It has always been this way and it always will be..it will just get worse. Money makes the world turn 'round.

Its all about getting more money. False statement at the bottom by the CDC: lumping ALL tobacco use together.

And all I have to worry about now is the parabins in my shampoo, the GMO in my food, the aluminum in my cooking pots, the mercury in my vaccine, the flouride in my toothpaste, the MSG masquerading as ridiculous ingredient names in most foods (google msg names), I can go on for days. Yup, and people wonder why I am depressed sometimes. We are test subjects for a long term genetic alteration study. Who knows what clay in cigs and GMO and vaping pg/vg and flavoring will do to humans 10-20 generations down the line. For all we know our kids, kids, kids will grow gills cause where inhaling/exhaling water vapor. lol

There's a simple solution for that middleborn. 1) Go to your local hardware store and purchase a large bag of sand. 2) Pour said sand underneath the neighbor's window, preferably somewhere that the neighbor doesn't typically travel. 3) Watch kitty, and every other cat in the neighborhood, use the sand rather than going under your window. Really, they cannot resist it, thus the reason my children never owned a sand box. 8-o

Actually, the entire article is bull ..... If you look at the real bloomberg article they are talking about "small cigars" although there are some small cig companies that are making some cigarette like "small cigars" that they put clay in the filter. The clay is a type of clay used to absorb "impurities" in lots of different applications.

The big tobacco companies aren't doing this in their cigs. And even the small company is using it in filters, to, you know, filter.
