BTW Dual Coil and other LR cartos are only for big batteries 450mah+ and 1.5 ohms has the potential to damage some big batteries.

There are many carto tanks and they use pre-punched or pre-slotted cartos (which 1-2 holes cut in the side at specific positions) and the carto is placed in the tank and is surrounded by liquid. There some styles sold for punched Boge cartos and other usually larger styles sold for dual coils. The tanks all very some, seal better, some have better clear tubes, better or more attractive material for the ends etc. and they run from about $12 to $75. The pre-punched cartos are usually sold where the tank is sold but some people just buy the original kind and punch or slot them themself.

I have Ego-T batteries, (2x 650mAh, 1x 900mAh), Would I run the risk of killing my batteries with this kit?

...it is possible to damage ANY batt with LR gear...LR gear will cause a higher discharge rate in ANY batt...having said that, MANY, MANY here(myself included) use LR gear on our eGos, Rivas and other devices with no problems whatsoever...the tradeoff in performance is well worth the risk of a once in a double blue moon occurence............

Think I may buy one, considering the price though, 10x carto's are around R200 (about $23) and these smok cartos are $3 ea

You can make one by yourself with two syringes, soft tip LR carto, drip tip and dremel ;-) I am pretty sure there is a thread about this on the forum but I am too lazy to check it out ;-)

I use the j-tank and 2.0 ohm dual coils that I cut the slit in myself with a metal saw. It works great. No leaking at all. The dual coils r only 1.80 a piece doing them myself. The tank was 19.99 and worth every penny.

Just made a 10cc one, works well for a first attempt

Leaked a bit due to the way I filled it but works quite well. I'll make a decent one soon and add a step by step (just want to get parts and batteries for the better camera but there are plenty about so doubt it is necessary)
