Koh Gen Do is awesome. Because it comes in pad form, you cut to size what you need and thread it through your coil. So easy to work with and at least I find it "tastes" better than organic or sterile cotton. I picked up a box from Barneys but it looks like they don't sell it anymore.
Shiseido is an alternative brand that is very similar to Koh Gen Do. You could try that if you have no luck finding KGD.
In KGD, all the strands are running in the same direction which makes it easier to work with and allows it to wick like a dream. I get no off taste at all from it, it's the best I've found.
One box of KGD will likely last you a lifetime. I've had the stuff for about a month, guesstimate I've wicked at least 18-24 microcoils and still not even halfway through the first pad. I think 60 come in the box. I'm happy with it. No need to try anything else at this time.
