Vapor Country sells the adapter. I ordered one last night, even though the store is 'on vacation' through Friday the 13th - but I'm hoping I'll get it Monday or Tuesday (expecting my Xhaler and a pack of 5 cartomizers tomorrow - I'll use my 901 atomizers until I get the adapter and can try the cartomizers for the first time.

DaMulta posted the info about the adapter at Vapor Country over in the Chuck thread, and several other 'Chuckies' chimed in with 'Yeah, that's the right one', so I'm confident it's the right one.

None of my other searches of the forum seemed to find anythng else that sounded right, with the exception of a post showing how to use a Dremel tool to drill a couple of slits in the 901 vaporizer threaded end to give the atomizer the necessary air flow with the cartomizer. Yeah, like I'd even recognize a Dremel tool if I tripped over it in my local Lowes or Home Depot. I saw the sign for one in Lowes but the shelf was empty and I think the price was something around $80 for the tool. Definitely not an item that will go on my letter to Santa!

The only power tool I'd ever buy for that price is something that will open clamshell packaging!

There is another place you can get an adapter. It goes from the 801 to the 901 and it has an air flow in it so you can use it with cartomizers. It is available at vaprlife.com
I have a vp-1 and they are all 801's with adapters to either the 510 or the 901. I found out that the cartomizer works great on it and looked and found a hole for air flow already in it. It is about half the size of the one from vapor country and it is gold instead of black. I also have the one from vapor country and it works good too. Hope this helps someone!! :)

The adapters have the same threads as an atty. If you have the 901 tip on the xhaler (the one that it comes with), all you do is screw on the adapter and then screw your atty into the adapter. Sort of a go between the original tip and the atty. I don't know if I am explaining it right......maybe someone else can explain it better. :)
