Just FYI -- many ppl who like the standard/regular KR8 cartos at high voltage are finding that they don't like any of the newer, higher (= cooler) OR lower (= hotter) resistance cartos at HV. Not saying 'all,' but from reading active subforums where the newer kind are sold, that does seem to be the more common opinion. For example in the V9 and V4L subforums. So, you may want to aim for the standard style that was always in use before a couple months ago. Many people do like those a lot at HV, including myself (and I don't like anything else, i.e. atties, at 6V). Or, try small numbers of each. I sometimes wonder if eventually the standard ones will disappear; seems many suppliers want to carry one of the newer kind, which produce more vapor and enhanced flavor even at lower voltage (and in the case of the lowered resistance ones, also devour more juice and batt life and... etc. etc.)

It may be easiest to determine which is which when shopping by the fact that the regulars probably wouldn't have any special model name, OR be described as anything like improved; or more like HV; or having a different resistance; running warmer OR cooler than most, etc.

As far as sources, here's a paste of a post I made in mid-March naming several places to get good deals on regulars. Not sure if it's all still accurate, or if some of them might be selling the newer higher or lower ohm versions now (also or instead). Also, wasn't composed with limiting it to only those I knew had them in stock atm in mind. ;)

If you don't mind ordering from China, eastmall.net has 200 for $200, free shipping, but also great deals on lesser amounts. Many also like healthcabin.net and heaven-gifts.com for blanks, and prices are similar to eastmall's. Health Cabin has a 5% discount code available too ('ecf' something; didn't look it up), and free shipping at the $250 mark.

As for US sources, eliquidplanet.com had a $6.99 price and there was a 10% discount code to use on top of that: ECF10. (Found in their forum, with no indication that it will expire.) Free shipping over $100.

And LiteCig (litecigusa.net) had a $6.95 price, and does free first class shipping over $15, free priority shipping over $75.

lecig.com has $8.99, free shipping. Not sure if they ever run coupon codes too.

Have also seen good prices at cigtechs.com especially when combined with the coupon codes they sometimes run. (Free shipping over $60 there.) But there weren't many in stock the times I looked.

$8.49 at puresmoker.com, free shipping over $100.

electronic-ash.com has individual blanks for $1.49 each, free shipping over $13.99.

Several ppl recently mentioned ordering individual blanks from midwestvapor.com, $1.60 each, free shipping over $100. And I think they're $1.40 each at Ikenvape, tho out of stock right now.

Oh just came across the fact that goodprophets.com apparently puts theirs on sale (for about $6.99 I think) every couple weeks. They have free shipping over $30.

And there are probably even more great-to-decent deals to be found than those! :)

My first ones were from V4L, No complaints.

Did buy some less expensive cartos, work fine except the paper wrapper that goes around them covers the air holes, this is on the battery end of the carto. If I take a small nipper and nip a little cut by each air hole and push the wrapper up just a fuzz they are just as good. Just giving you a heads up, hate to see you get one and think they are really bad because of this flaw.

I just ordered some cartos for the first time and tried them all out this weekend at 3.7v..but found out very quickly the difference. I tried the new 510 Cartomizers, the standard KR808D's and the premium KR808D's. As it turns out the new 510 Cartos are just like the premiums, the diff being with those is they are lower resistance. I couldn't figure out why I was blowing my head off with nicotine, till I started doing some reading. They also didn't last but about an hr before getting that faint burnt/dry taste. Wasn't impressed other than less hassle than messing with attys and carts.

Then I tried the standard KR808D's. Wow! Smooth as silk vapes with plenty of flavor and taste, totally silent draw and cartos lasted almost 3hrs. I'm sold on these! I just ordered 5 more 5-packs so I have enough to cover my flavors.
