I am active outdoorsman and love to fish. On any given day (5 out of 7) you can find me wearing a pair of waders in the middle of the Boise River. Not wanting to drop my p/v in the water (like my cell phone) I decided it was time to MacGyver a lanyard so that I could vape with one-hand and not drop it in the water. A lanyard that I could vape on and drop at a seconds notice should I need to hook a fish. It's also very handy since I don't like to keep my p/v in my pockets.
Items needed: Parachute cord, Twine, Weed Wacker line, Shoe lace
Cardboard Wire Clothes Hanger Connector: Hangers from laundrymat
Cut off 3-4" of the round cardboard hanger connector and use a punch or small screwdriver and poke a hole through the connector about an inch down from the end.
Run the Parachute cord, twine, shoelace thru the hole and to the desired length you want it to hang around your neck, cut the cord and tie it off.
The p/v fits nice and snug without any possibility of coming out.
Place the p/v end (l.e.d. end) into the cardboard hanger connector with the carto hanging down.....done.
