KR808D-1 battery and Greencig Carts...

Please bear with me as the cold medicine I've been on for a week keeps me in a constant state of confusion... I know this information is here on these forums I just can't find a definite answer..

I have a KR808D-1 kit and a pack of greencig cartomizers to go with it. Problem is, the 808 battery does not have the groove cut into it to allow use with the greencigs.

I'm looking for 'the' answer to the problem. Is there an adapter specific to this task or do I need to get a small wheel for the Dremel and make my own grooves in the battery?

Get a dremel bit like this...

and make you batt look like this...

This is a 901 batt modded for GC cartos, but same applies for 808s. The only difference is that you don't have to take the groove across the threads because the 808 already has holes in the threads.

EDIT: you can also staple mod it, but I thought that was a little sketchy. The staple gets loose and falls out, and can short the batt. This is a better, more permenant solution.

Edit2: If you go with the dremel method, just take a little off at a time, then screw your carto on and check the air flow. I went a little too far on one of mine and now it doesn't have the kind of "drag resistance" that I like. Little too airy.

BTW: I like the GC cartos way better than the 808 cartos. Much better design internally IMO

Another way is to get dremmals smalest driil bit put old cart in place drill 3 wholes ware carts have open spts into battery not to far though. I did this with 901 batterys they work great on gc carts than.8-o

I am glad I stumbled upon this thread, I had my head in the clouds
