kr808d-1 cartomizers

I was surfing the GLV website and came across the 808 cartomizers. In the note it said an adapter would be needed to use on GLV's. Does that mean a 901 connection would require and adapter? I have been using 808 cartomizers pretty exclusively so I order my SM with the 901 connection. If so, any recommendations on where to get one. Didn't see any on GLV website.

I think the 901 connection will work with 808s.You can order xtras at Good Prophets though.I alwways keep a few extras around,they seem to wear out after a while.

It works on my Icon v1.1 which has a 901 connection. Would hate to get my SM and then have to wait until adapters arrived to use it. I'll check out good prophets. thanks.

My GLV2 is on order, and I have some kr808d-2 empty cartomizers( Green smoke type)
and I found an adapter for 808d-2 to 510 from here:
510 Adapter
I believe the 901 should be right for the 808d-1's.

Anybody try and have luck with the kr808 mega/jumbo cartos on the 5V model? I've ordered them from ikenvape and nhaler. Both have horizontal coils and are supposed to be at least 3.0ohms but they just burn for me

I tried the kr808d-1 cartos (2.8-3.0 ohm) and thought they tasted bad and had a harsh th on the GLV-2 5v. First time I've coughed while vaping. Don't know if they take a bit to break in or if that's how they are. Been enjoying Boge 510 cartos and Cisco LR 1.5 attys.

I use V4L premiums and havent had an issue with burning.I like a strong TH.Ive been using them for quite a while and I top off pretty frequently.

I've tried and, while I don't prefer these to the coolcarts, I have absolutely no problem with burning the V4L premiums. That's part of the reason I'm so confused over the performance of the jumbos. I can only think it has to do with the placement of the atty coil. Have you tried any of the horizontal coil cartos, yourself? If so, have you noticed any differences between their performance at higher voltages versus the cartos with vertical coils?

I gave the kr808d-1 cartos another chance. Maybe I had a bad one or it was the liquid I used, but with a new carto and a different juice it was a good vape. I like the length of the carto because I don't get juice in my mouth like the boge 510 cartos. I have now ordered some more 808s. I'm going to try the dual coil 510s next.

You won't be sorry with the duals. They perform great at 5V! My only complaint, so far(and I've only tried one dual) is that the flavor isn't as good as the V4L coolcarts I normally use.
