I was just wondering why the makers of the kr808 haven't jumped on the boat as far as a factory produced big battery , Iv'e seen the ego , and i have a riva, these are both above 650 mah the riva is 750 mah . and I can tell you since i have got this it is all I use , i use both 510 & 808 cartomizers , i just have to use an adapter .I get about 8 hours out of one battery and it's not really that much bigger , just a little longer than a regular 808 battery but it's bigger around , but it actually looks good. I'm just hopeful ( healthy competition is a good thing )

I was also hoping to find the "Ego" version for a KR808 and just ordered Cigeasy's "Elegant Easy" which is rated at 750mah and uses 808 cartos. I think it's a brand new new product and even looks kind of like the Ego. I'm excited about getting it and will let everyone know how it works as soon as I receive it.

I'm definitely considering the Elegant. I've had great luck so far with Cigeasy's KR808D-1 (AKA 902) manual batteries and USB PT.

Can't wait to hear your opinions on it!

I posted this in the cigeasy section, i'll re-post: I received the Elegant 2 days ago:

Whatever the voltage is, my first full charged Elegant Batt lasted me 12 hrs until completely exhausted. Then 1.5 hrs to fully charge again. Premium Carto pre-filled marlboro lasted about 6-7 hrs then i refilled it once in 12 hrs heavy use. Didn't even get hot, maybe a touch warm. I have the gold color and it looks very nice, not girly or feminine at all. It appears to be a plastic casing over the batt. I'm really liking this thing.

PS, Doesn't get as hot as a PT, probably guessing under a 5v batt. Great TH and vapor. A few steps up for me using the V4L batts. Now i'm spoiled :p

So far I'm not loving my Elegant Easy. I am having a hard time drawing air and getting flavor from my cartos compared to my regular 808 batteries. The center of threaded end is solid, whereas my 808's all have a small hole in the middle, so i'm guessing that is why I am having some trouble. I'll give it some more time to see if I get used to it but so far, I'm disppointed.

Unfortunately, my Elegant Easy is just not working out for me. I may have even made things worse by turning the metal screw that is on the battery side, thinking it might adjust the airflow (similar to the screw on the 510-808 adapters). When I draw, I get almost nothing but air. I received two batteries and get the same results with both after charging them overnight. Others seemed to really like the Elegant, so it may be that I'm doing something wrong.

robgold - Do you think it might be because of the cartomizers you're using? I just received my Elegant today and have tried four different cartomizers. All taste great, and even better than when I use my V4L manual XL batteries.

I've tried V4L's pre-filled cartomizers as well as their coolcarts, all with the same result unfortunately. Maybe I received defective batteries?

hmmm - Maybe you should contact Frank at CigEasy. I've tried a few V4L pre-filled cartomizers, as well as some V4L cool carts with other liquid. All are working great!

I just bought the Hello and was looking for a good Carto that I can use with it. I don't care for the 510's because they seem to run out of liguid to quick and I don't like the burnt taste.

You mean the 510 cartomizers run out of liquid too fast, or the cartridges for the mouthpiece? I haven't tried the 510 cartos yet (cartomizers), but I do use Kr808 cartomizers on my Hello battery a lot, and they do work for me. A cartomizer (and I use a drip tip) to me is like a heavy duty large capacity atomizer, I put 10 to 40 drops in them (depending on how new it is), put the drip tip back on, and it's all set.

One day, I thought I had the atomizer on, not the cartomizer. I couldn't really tell because I got too busy, and I use the drip tip on both. Then suddenly I thought good grief, I keep vaping and vaping on the atomizer and it's still not drying up. Hahaha, THEN I looked at it and realized I had the cartomizer on!

robgold, did you contact CigEasy?

I'm very interested in seeing whether you were able to resolve your issues, as I was/am considering getting an Elegant....any news?

Hi NanC. No, I never contacted Cigeasy (I'm really bad about follow through with these things). I just bought the Buzz Varivolt and have been in vaping bliss for the past few days. The Elegant Easy didn't work out for me, but you should try it and see if you like it, provided they have a return policy.

After reading about the Elegant Easy I decided to give it a try. I bought it on Friday and it arrived in the mail on Monday. I love it so far! Charged quickly, vaped all night on it.

It is hard to appreciate how small it is until you actually have it in your hands. I prefer it without the cone for an easier draw, but I guess you can play with the screw for further adjustment.

Based on the first 24 hours, I think it is a great device and the price (for all you get) is very reasonable. Hopefully it will continue to perform as well over the long term.
