KR808D Cartos/ Bloog batts

Anybody know why the KR808D cartos from madvapes don't work on Bloog batts?

I got some kr808 cartos from a clearance bin someplace, can't remember where I bought them. But the battery connector in the cartos isn't slotted like the other cartos I've gotten. The slot provides an airway for air to enter the carto. There was no air entering al all, like sucking on a pencil.

Yeah, that's exactly what this combo (MV's KR808D carto/Bloog batt) is doing. I can use a Madvape KR808D batt with a Bloog carto, but not the other way around.

What ohms are the ones you got? Don't buy random cartos. Some Madvapes ones are 2.0 ohm and that is too low for a slim ecig (and the protection circuit of the battery may have disabled power). And their 2.5 ohm L-Rider ones - the ohms are fine but the first one I tried was great and I left a good review, then the second one was sheer garbage and I have been unable to get them to remove my good review and I am p'd off at them. Some random cartos may also be non-standard - not have the slotted center post or have a shorter threaded end and not electrically connect.

If you want good cartos, buy the SmokelessImage Volt or Bloogplanet cartos (the same I think) or the Vapor4Life WOW cartos (or their Coolcarts if you want cooler ones). I use Vapor4Life WOW cartos (with a plastic/delrin drip tip as a cool mouthpiece) on my Smokeless Image Volt (same thing as Bloog Maxxfusion). And if you like a cooler carto, the Boge KR808D-1 2.7ohm ones at Liberty-Flights might be worth trying (I bought a pack but haven't tried them yet)

BTW - if you have the OLD Bloog Fusion - that is not KR808D-1 (it's KR808D-2 aka E9 and you would need a D2 to D1 adapter from leCig.com to use KR808D-1 cartos)

The cartos were labeled on the invoice as, 3061 Smok Tech Black 808 , not sure of the ohms. There is also a coil visible inside these and there is not a visible coil in the Bloog cartos. I'll try and post a pic. I think I have the new style Bloog, ordered it last month. Carto at the top is the one in question.

If you ordered your Bloog that recently then you have the Maxxfusion because I don't think they still sell the KR808D-2 Fusion.

Does the carto screw in fine but not electrically connect? Have you tried a second one to see if it is just a bad carto? If another does not work it could be your battery post is depressed a bit or the carto's post is depressed a bit. Without poking into the airhole, try to lift the carto's center post a bit? I am wary of suggesting you do it to your battery - if you are not careful you can pull up too far and ruin a battery (I have done that).

Does it electrically connect but not get a good drag? Could be the slot issue.

Oh look - they also do not work on Vapor4Life which is pretty much manufacturer standard KR808D-1

If a KR8 carto does not work on Vapor4Life then the carto is at fault.

Thanks Dormouse, I think these particular cartos just don't work with the Bloog. The threads and post make connection, I just can't draw on it at all, must be a slot issue. Oh well, a little more money down the drain. Better than up in smoke I guess? I sure thought I was ordering the right cartos since they are labeled KR808D, they do work with the Madvapes batt, just was hoping for spare parts for one setup (didn't want another mini setup).

So the Smokeless Image cartos for sure work on a Bloog batt?
