clean your tank totally and the o-ring, then push that o-ring into place as hard as you can with something. I sa this, because it is possible that it keeps sliding out cause there is just a bit of juice stuck up in there, allowing it just enough lubrication to slide out. Juice on the exposed part of an inplace o-ring is a good thing, it helps make a seal, juice on the part of the o-ring that is supposed to sit against the metal.. not so good.

It is also possible your ring has shrunk over time, and needs to be replaced. This does happen over time, and they do eventually need to be replaced. There are plenty of vendors that sell them, this just happens to be a vendor I use, so here is their link
