Just purchased the KTS Kamry and having a major malfunction. The firing button gets extremely hot after a couple seconds. Anyone have any similar problems and hopefully a solution to the issue. I have contacted the company and they kept insisting it is a copy from a different company and refused to assist me further.

Thats odd, I use 2 kamrys all day long and the only time I get a hot button effect is when there is a short or I have a washer touching the positive and negative leads together. Can you take a picture of your coil setup as close and clear as possible for other to help aid in this dilemma?

there are no exposed battery contact with the device

I dont see anything noticeably wrong on the coil. Have you tried using a regular prebuilt device like a protank carto or atty with it? Does it do the same thing?

I have no clue why the photos post so tiny, but if you click on the photo it makes it a little bigger.

yep... ive tried with a lr boge carto and a vivi nova at 2.4 ohms. on the provari i can jack it up to 4.2 volts and 1.1 ohm coil

What are you using on top? My first thing to check would be make sure there are no shorts

I would agree with this. I just got this mod and have been using it exclusively with an AGA-T2 and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. For the price, it's by far one of the best mech mods I've used....

Sounds like a problem with the switch making bad contact to me. You may be able to fix it with some sand paper, or may need to replace part of your switch, but that's beyond my expertise with that device. If you know where the switch makes contact, just lightly sand it, enough to scuff it a bit.

ty I will definitely give that a try
