SO, I'm new to the forum as I am to e-cigs/vaping. It's been 3 weeks, or so since I touched traditional tobacco/cloves(Djarum Blacks I had imported from Indonesia). Long story short, I use the Blu Premium 100 Kit, and all what the kit is about makes it my favorite. The drawback is w/ the cartridges/cartomizers; 90% of the time they burn the e-juice properly like they should. But IF whenever a cart might act up on me I pop off the plastic top cap, and then I push down the little clear "donut gasket" until I see the juice rise to the sides of the gasket, then I stop-recap-and get the same IF not BETTER vaping/flavor from it. Since I solved that, no issues w/ 'em!
BUT...I was wondering IF there is a compatible/universal cartomizer that would fit & work w/ the Blu Premium100 battery!? I'd like to be able to apply e-juice whenever needed. I read on another thread that a 306 or 510 standard resistence(3ohm) is compatible, but I'm NOT sure . How about ANYONE ELSE!? Please help! Thanks

It is a 306 carto. Make sure you don't get lower than 3.0ohm. The battery life on those is already bad and lower than that will make it worse.

Personally, if I were you, I'd return it while you are still in the 30 return period and get a better mini like a volt,

Blu charges way too much money for that thing and the battery life is horrible. You will have a hard time finding replacement cartos in that size. The good kr808 battery companies like halo or smokeless image will give you twice the battery life for almost half the money. And you can get blank cartos.

Blu Premium carto's are a standard 510 thread and measure about 2.4 ohms.
You can use a standard resistance Boge cartomizer. They will measure a bit higher at close to 3 ohms.
This will give you a slightly cooler vape, but your batteries charge will last a bit longer.
Almost every on-line vendor will have Boge cartomizers, so I'll let others send you to a place with the cheepest price.

Mroutlaw,

I had a blu Premium 100 kit that I used prior to getting my Volt.
I can assure you that standard boge's (510 thread) will fit just fine.

This is what the guy has, and he's happy with the system. It is MUCH better than the regular Blu that you get from Walgreens with better battery life and a better PCC. It is what got me off analogs, so it can and does work. At this point I'm not going to suggest he spend $$$ to get something better. He'll want that soon enough and at that time we can help him find his next PV. There really isn't much of a reason for him to dump a system that's working for him. If he was in the market for a PV and didn't already have a kit, then that would be different.

Yes, 510s will fit the threading, but they are wider than the blu carto. The only reason I suggested it is because if he bought it 3 weeks ago, he is within the 30 day money back guarantee.

I had the blu premium 100, so I know it's better than the standard one. But it still has half the battery life of a 78mm kr808. I would not suggest him switching until he was ready to step up if he wasn't in the return period.

Obviously, if he can't return it, I would suggest a kgo when he's ready to move to something bigger, not another mini.

I have had the blu premium 100 kit for about a week. Have not had a regular, I guess you say, analog cigarette in about 2 weeks. I started on a really crappy corner store brand called Cig 2 0 (they are awful). i do see you guys don;t like Blu and I do plan eventually to pick a better and refillable brand. But for now, I am confused about where to go for cartos other than the blu site. I see "the 510 is fine but it's wider" I see "no lower than 3.0 ohm" I see "2.4 ohm Boge is fine". I just want to know exactly what works before i buy it. TY:)

I see you answered for one person already, I am still a lil confused. sorry.

Also, volcano.com leads to a FOX tv site. I looked at the other mentioned, I was hoping for more flavor choices. Looking for cola or vanilla. Not sure about the torte one the offered, said coffee/chocolate but also cheese? That's a lil strange. That was the Jet e cig site and cartos about a dollar less than blu I didn;t see a discount for buying more than one 5 pk at a time as blu offers.

Well I figured this out on my own. The 510 cartos work with the premium 100. Almost from anywhere. And I changed my mind about Cig 2 o, they are actually better than blu. I must have gotten a crappy kit the first time, they kind where the battery and carto don't seal properly and it makes an embarassing loud shushing/inhalation sound. But Cig 2 0 is half the price of blu. I am thinking of getting the larger Cig 2 o starter kit. Now, I find after buying blu refills in the drugstore and on blu cigs online and buynig a 3rd blu battery....the quality of Blu is REALLY hit or miss. The new battery, I would imagine it's the atomizer part...can barely get vapor from this. 2 out of the 5 cartos, DOA. In the store, tried vanilla flavor. Again, 2/ 5 cartos, DOA no matter what battery I used. Lots and lots of 'burned taste' especially in the regular tobacco flavor. Recently Cig 2 o changed their 'look' I guess so the disposables of those were on clearance at walgreens for $3.99 for awhile. I bought 5. Those do last almost 2 packs worth. But back to an electrical question....

I bought a 'Energizer portable power kit'. Has all kinds of attachments..every cell phone or netbook under the sun for in or out charging from a 'base' you charge before, apparently leaving the house. Works great with my LG Thrill phone. One adapter to the portabe base fits in the Blu charging case. It seems to charge it ok, but I am worried about damaging it. The base charger is 5v. Many adapters so it can connect to the blu cig pack or usb charger easily. Just worried this will ruin the blu pack?

And...can anyone recommend a site with 510 cartos in vanilla and cola at a reasonable price? ty :)

And 1 more thing, since I may be going with Cig 2 O for awhile, I am wondering what carto? The pack really doesn't say. but the threads on the battery are male, unike on the blue batteries which are female.

They are right, the 510 cartos work. From any brand. I bought from a discount place, I can't find the url, but had this on my paypal: eCigBestSave LLC,269-2799123,Mi. The cartos were softish, too. Not hard like blu. a little rubbery and felt even more like a real cig. Good vapor. Maybe not the greatest, everyone has their faves, but was worth the money $12.64 incl shipping for 5 carto.

For that price you could stick with the blu prefilled cats and refill them afte they are empty
