Hi,

My issue is I cannot taste any discernible flavours from my ecig. I either do not like it and am unable to vape it or it is just ok and I can vape it. I would love to be able to say 'oh I can really taste the flavour of oranges in my citrus mix' but it just doesn't happen for me. I do know that I can vape the Liqua fruit flavours that I get from fastech. Again, they are just ok. I want to be able to say 'oo I love that flavour, it tastes just like the real thing' but I cant make out the different flavours. I hope ive made my problem clear.

I had my last analogue 2 years and 4 months ago and have always used ego style setups.

I currently use a tank setup with a foam filled flanged 1.5 ohm cartomizer, screwed onto ego style 900 battery. I use fruit flavours by Liqua at 18mg from fastech. This is providing the nicotine hit at the back of my throat but I want the flavour also.

Any one had this problem before and any recommendations how to resolve it?

Yours hopefully, Shaun

I had an evic and ran many different tanks. Flavor would be good at first but then non existing after a few mins. Was always unhappy.

When my evic died I went to a shop and he offered me a cheaper solution that would offer the most flavor and throat hit. And that was mechanicals and dripping. He warned me that once I try it, there's no going back to tanks. He was very right. I walked out with a mechanical set up for half the price of a new evic.

Why battle with "analogs"? Join em' cause "analog" includes mechanical mods. Drip or if you like a tank go with a Kayfun. The kayfun is fail proof. You'll be on analogs again and have the most flavor, hit and vapor as possible.

Uuummmmmmmmm.........

Analogs = Cigarettes

Do try to keep up with the lingo if you're going to try to use it.

There are a lot of companies that sell their e-juice online, but my best suggestion to you is to seek out some DIY alternatives. I say this because I have acid reflux so most places sell their e-juice with to much flavor for me to enjoy, I started making my own stuff and I am satisfied now. You are the opposite, you are looking for more flavor so all you need to do is the opposite. You may also want to consult with Mr. Todd form "Todd ecigreviews" he seems to have some hefty knowledge on flavors from UK. Good Luck.

My best bet for buying e-juice is my local vape shop where I can try it before I buy. The majority of e-juices I have purchased online have sucked. And I don't mean I just didn't like the flavor. I mean I couldn't taste enough flavor to tell if I liked it or not. I've taken out flavor wicks on my Evod tanks and Pro Tank minis. I've tried atomizers with different resistances. I've tried variable voltage. I have vaped juices that surrounded me in clouds and clouds of vapor, but had barely a hint of the advertised flavor. I know my taste buds work. I don't have this problem with anything but e-juices. I know there are good, flavorful e-juices out there because I occasionally get one. But, argh! It can be frustrating spending money on juices from companies with good reputations and have the juice taste like almost nothing.

Glad you here on ecf and congrats to your long time of being smokefree. That is wonderful. I have never experienced what I here people talk about with the dreaded vapors tongue but I think it maybe because I make my own and do not make my flavors as strong as premade. You could always get some vg from Walmart and dilute your juice down. Now be aware that it would also dilute your nic but the flavor would still be there and maybe it would help.

Look forward to reading your future posts and probably teaching me a thing or two. Happy vaping. :)

I can't taste some of the Liqua e-liquids. The citrus is very mild indeed. (just a touch of lemon and grapefruit as I remember)

Also, dare I ask... your foam-filled 1.5ohm cartomizer - is it a dual coil?

If you enjoy citrus, buy something made from Inawera concentrate flavours (LT ecigs) their citrus flavours are good, although LT mix them and then I don't touch them for at least a week.

Liqua Grape is the worst liquid ever made. The berry mix is just about passable. Most of the fruits are not even 2nd rate.

Yes it is dual coil.

Strange how I find grape to be passable yet don't like the berry mix. I will look at your LT suggestion.

Cheers
