I had an evic and ran many different tanks. Flavor would be good at first but then non existing after a few mins. Was always unhappy.

When my evic died I went to a shop and he offered me a cheaper solution that would offer the most flavor and throat hit. And that was mechanicals and dripping. He warned me that once I try it, there's no going back to tanks. He was very right. I walked out with a mechanical set up for half the price of a new evic.

Why battle with "analogs"? Join em' cause "analog" includes mechanical mods. Drip or if you like a tank go with a Kayfun. The kayfun is fail proof. You'll be on analogs again and have the most flavor, hit and vapor as possible.

Interested in what you got. Been really wanting to try dripping too. Happy with the tanks, but seems like everyone you talk to that drips will never go back and only use tanks if driving or something where they can't be dripping constantly.

Been watching the videos on rebuildables. Looks not too bad once you get the right equipment. I'm just trying to figure out what is good to start with. Still so much for me to learn, but I'm enjoying it. My wife on the other hand.... though she vapes too just not as much.... has said on many occasion that I'm spending too much lol. So much for the "cheaper than smoking" slogan so many vape stores use. Haven't broken the bank or anything, but dang it's easy to buy a little here, a little there......

Hi,

My issue is I cannot taste any discernible flavours from my ecig. I either do not like it and am unable to vape it or it is just ok and I can vape it. I would love to be able to say 'oh I can really taste the flavour of oranges in my citrus mix' but it just doesn't happen for me. I do know that I can vape the Liqua fruit flavours that I get from Fastech. Again, they are just ok. I want to be able to say 'oo I love that flavour, it tastes just like the real thing' but I cant make out the different flavours. I hope ive made my problem clear.

I had my last analogue 2 years and 4 months ago and have always used ego style setups.

I currently use a tank setup with a foam filled flanged 1.5 ohm cartomizer, screwed onto ego style 900 battery. I use fruit flavours by Liqua at 18mg from Fastech. This is providing the nicotine hit at the back of my throat but I want the flavour also.

Any one had this problem before and any recommendations how to resolve it?

Yours hopefully, Shaun

Well, I have a thing with FastTech, so I will admit that my opinion may be colored against it from the start.

Are you buying quality juices?

By that, I mean places like Vapor Chef, Mt Baker, Alice in Vapeland, Suicide Bunny, Ahlusions.

I find that Vapor Chef and Suicide Bunny both have strong flavors.

Tanks will also have a big effect on flavor.

Soda water works great. Cleanses the pallet really well and is quite refreshing.

Try mixing your own juice it's super cheap and can control your own flavor concentration.

I "started" with a k100 and an igow dripper. Its a great combo and I learned a lot on that combo. The k100 and igow hit pretty well. The two ran about $50.

Since you mentioned the cost, mechanicals and drippers are very economical.

A protank coil is about $3. One a month is $36/year. A spool of wire is $5/100' and a bag of cotton is $5. For that $10 you can build coils for over a year.

It can be economical, the thing is most people end up turning it into a hobby. Collecting mods and atomizers, then it turns into a money pit. But in the clone world you can have a solid fog machine for $50. Spending more for authentic gear is a decision you gotta make. I'm not about to start that argument here with clones vs authentic.

Good luck, hit me up if you have questions.

Thats where this world is wrong. A mechanical mod is an analog device.

Thank you. This drives me nuts.

Even worse are the people talking about "digital" and "analog" clocks when they mean digital and radial clockfaces. An analog clock can have a digital face, and a digital clock can power a radial clockface.
People seem to think that "digital" means anything electronicky and "analog" means anything older. Or something.

Yes, coffee mutes my taste as well. I wish I could find something I could vape with it.

Have you tried VCV's Nightshift? I really like that with coffee. It's a fairly strong flavor; maybe that's part of the reason.

Re the thread in general: some vendors will add extra flavor if you ask for it at checkout. Others pride themselves on their flavors' subtlety and don't offer that option. If you're wondering about a specific vendor, someone here on ECF is sure to know.

You are ranking MBV with Suicide Bunny and Vapor Chef? This is inaccurate..
