Interested in what you got. Been really wanting to try dripping too. Happy with the tanks, but seems like everyone you talk to that drips will never go back and only use tanks if driving or something where they can't be dripping constantly.
Been watching the videos on rebuildables. Looks not too bad once you get the right equipment. I'm just trying to figure out what is good to start with. Still so much for me to learn, but I'm enjoying it. My wife on the other hand.... though she vapes too just not as much.... has said on many occasion that I'm spending too much lol. So much for the "cheaper than smoking" slogan so many vape stores use. Haven't broken the bank or anything, but dang it's easy to buy a little here, a little there......

Well, I have a thing with FastTech, so I will admit that my opinion may be colored against it from the start.
Are you buying quality juices?
By that, I mean places like Vapor Chef, Mt Baker, Alice in Vapeland, Suicide Bunny, Ahlusions.
I find that Vapor Chef and Suicide Bunny both have strong flavors.
Tanks will also have a big effect on flavor.
I couldn't taste anything at first. I think my taste buds were shot for a bit.
I rotate tanks now. Usually between 3-4 tanks a day. Things are a lot better. Took a bit, though.

Soda water works great. Cleanses the pallet really well and is quite refreshing.
Try mixing your own juice it's super cheap and can control your own flavor concentration.

I "started" with a k100 and an igow dripper. Its a great combo and I learned a lot on that combo. The k100 and igow hit pretty well. The two ran about $50.
Since you mentioned the cost, mechanicals and drippers are very economical.
A protank coil is about $3. One a month is $36/year. A spool of wire is $5/100' and a bag of cotton is $5. For that $10 you can build coils for over a year.
It can be economical, the thing is most people end up turning it into a hobby. Collecting mods and atomizers, then it turns into a money pit. But in the clone world you can have a solid fog machine for $50. Spending more for authentic gear is a decision you gotta make. I'm not about to start that argument here with clones vs authentic.

ive had similar problems with muted flavors.. especially after vaping them for extended periods of time. i also noticed that the lower the nic level, the more i can taste the true flavor of the juice. maybe lower your nic level a bit and see if it helps?
If you'll search on google, easily get flavors eliquids. Put e-liquid in google search and lots of website appear on google. Simple find your one and buy. Best of luck.

Even worse are the people talking about "digital" and "analog" clocks when they mean digital and radial clockfaces. An analog clock can have a digital face, and a digital clock can power a radial clockface.
People seem to think that "digital" means anything electronicky and "analog" means anything older. Or something.

Re the thread in general: some vendors will add extra flavor if you ask for it at checkout. Others pride themselves on their flavors' subtlety and don't offer that option. If you're wondering about a specific vendor, someone here on ECF is sure to know.
I've only been vaping 3 months but for some odd reason I found this happened to me after 2 weeks. I would switch back and forth a lot from a strong peppermint back to another flavor and then I could taste the juices again.
You are ranking MBV with Suicide Bunny and Vapor Chef? This is inaccurate..
+1 on cold water and strong peppermint vape for a taste bud reset. Also, it may sound weird, but pulling your tongue back while drawing a puff mutes the flavor. Moving it forward so that the vapor hits your taste buds on the tip of your tongue can do the trick.
You need better equipment and better juice. Try juice from nicoticket and try a clearomizer instead of carto's.
If you are using plastic drip tips this could be the reason for the taste difference too. I had it happen to me before. The taste was not the same and I thought it was something I was doing. After changing atty's and flavors I used another set up I had with a stainless tip and it was fine after that.
It's seem that small bore drip tip have great impact on taste. I check a youtube video from pegasus1337 about it, make some test and it seem to be real I ordered some and will test this with all my RBA. If you are interest the video is call Vape Shopping With Peg: Episode 1 - Flavor
