Hey everyone! I'm looking for a little advice :D

My wife and I are fairly new vapers, been serious about it for a few months now and I would really like to get her a nice APV to go with her Kanger Aerotank 2. I know she's not getting the best performance possible out of the little 3.0-3.7V ego stick she's using now. She's not terribly picky but I know she'd love something colorful that's not too heavy or bulky (yeah box mods are out for now or I'd get her something like a hana modz) and I'd like to get her something that is variable wattage and has a removable battery so something 18350 compatible is probably going to be best. I'd like to try and keep it under $75 or so which I know cuts out a lot of the higher end mods but I think she'd kill me if I spent more than that on a hanukkah present!

I've still got a lot of looking around to do but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Did some looking around and I'm thinking of going with either a Sigelei Zmax Mini (purple is her favorite color) or getting a VAMO like I have and getting a good sleeve in a color she'd like :D

Any other ideas?
The Z-max was my first also....I still use it daily since about March....very good choice, easy one button menu. But just in case she may need a little more battery time, the Vamo v3 extension tube screws on perfectly and gives you the option to use 18650's and if you get lucky and can find a kick extension (some fit) that would give you room to use 18490/18500. So you could use any size battery with those additional pieces. Yes they do come in pretty colors....mine is blue and topped with Aspire e-ts/bvc coils also blue.......happy woman!!

What about a semi-box mod? The IStick is about the most compact thing going right now and a lot of folks really like them. I wear carpenters jeans most of the time and keep my little IStick in the leg pocket with an Erlkonigin clone attached to it. I forget it's there until I get the urge.

I've thought about the iStick but My wife is still pretty picky about what she'll use lol. I'm sure I can get her to use a box mod eventually but we have to take baby steps :). She didn't want to use anything bigger than a cig-alike for a while but I've got her on an ego vv with an aerotank 2 now that she likes, just gonna try to bump up the battery sizes a bit at a time as she realizes the benefits :)

Yeah I do like the Vamo, I've got a v6 that I've kind of fallen in love with - she doesn't really like the buttons on it though, she thinks they're too "clicky" lol (again, love her but she is picky!) how is the button "feel" on the zmax?

I know you said replaceable battery but......101 vapes has Innokin VV/v3 for 25.99.....it has everything you need in small form factor and goes to 11W.....just something else to look at....

The buton on the Z-max is not clicky-clicky or hard... Its a nice size round/flat button.......but it does rattle! A little...

Oh yeah? I'm a little wary on the little sticks like that we've had bad luck, plus I'm trying to move her more in the direction of a good mechanical mod like the magneto and it'll just be easier if she (conveniently!) already has the batteries and knows a bit more about wattage and its effect on the quality of the vape. She's a special one lol but I know how to teach her. Just takes patience :)

Again, the VV v3 does not have a removable battery, but it is variable voltage and wattage, and reliable. One of my original ones from over a year ago is still going strong. The other one I broke through sheer stupidity. The picture is the Nature series which is closer to $40, but the plain ones are about $25.

Oh yeah that is nice! I think I will track one down for her, I've seen those before but hadn't heard much about the reliability on them. Fits our price range too! Might just have to get her two so she's got a backup at all times :) thanks!
