texasstar: Do you have any leakage with that method? Maybe it is just my lack of dripping prowess or I didn't tighten the cone down enough but when I did the same thing the string got wet with juice and messed up my blouse...

no problem with leaking at all. I have used my rivas and egos for months with no leaking. The lanyard I use has a very thin loop..I think it is called a break away lanyard. I cant understand how yours leaked.Do you have the carto or atomizer screwed in all the way? You put the string of the lanyard all the way down at the bottom of the battery connection. I don't know how to put up pics..sorry. After you have your carto or atty screwed on, slip on your cone but don't tighten it down until you loop your string under..then tighten down cone. Hope this helps

this is what i'm using and its awesome.
It is my jawbone bluetooth holder that i never use, i think i got it from a dollar store or maybe "princess auto"
Clips onto my visor/shirt pocket/necklace/chain and whatever else i find.
Does a great job of holding my ego-iTank upright keeping my wick nice and wet(i prefer high VG and it seems to be thicker and takes longer to wick)
