Hello Everyone,

I have a few questions about Nicotine levels.

The first juice I tried was 6mg. It did nothing...no TH or Vapor.

So, I switched to 24 which has great TH and Vapor, but it sometimes causes headaches and keeps me awake at night.

Here are the questions:

Is there a big difference between 24mg and 18mg?

What mg can be vaped at night, and if it is 6 or lower, how do you get enough TH and Vapor?

Thanks!

I'm a newbie as well, but I do know if you're getting a headache, you're probably getting too much nic. Suggestion 1: cut back on the vaping, lol. Also, try 100% PG; PG has more throat hit, less vapor, which is why I generally use a blend. You might try a 12 for around bedtime. Or a glass of warm milk, or a shot of Jack generally works as well. ;-)

I have some 0mg nic to vape awhile before bed. I get sensitive to stimulants and have difficulties sleeping. I don't worry too much about TH around that time, but sometimes add a touch of PGA if I don't drink it all first. There won't be a huge difference between 24mg and 18mg but that might be different to you. During the day I vape on somewhere between 12-18mg, but TH isn't my priority.

If 24mg is giving you headaches, you need to drop to 18mg. Physically you won't tell a difference but you head will. As for evenings, 12mg or lower should be okay. As for vapor, the mg has nothing to do with that. Vapor is produced by the amount of VG that's in the juice. TH will be affected though which isn't something that I ever worried about but some people have to have it. I've heard you can spike your juice with pga, never tried it, to get a better TH.

Hi Argemus if you are looking for throat hit you may want a liquid with more PG rather than going with Vg, I vape almost exclusively VG because I now enjoy the mellowness of VG liquids. Exactly the opposite of what you are explaining you are missing with the lower nic liquids.

The Levels question can really only be answered by you testing liquids in different blends and strengths. At one point in time i could vape 24mg no problem before bed .....at this point if I vape three big drags at 24mg i get queasy and a dull headache. As your body begins to adjust it will give you clues as to how it is trying to regulate the incoming nicotine in your liquids. As you get accustomed to vaping your technique improves and usually the liquid use also increases. Be mindful of all of these things as the play a big role in your well being.

The easiest way to increase throat hit would be to find a good quality low resistance carto(or atty or clearo or whatever you screw into your battery) that will give you more output power from your battery , add some higher percentage PG blend at a strength that you think wont cause you sleep issues and give it a try. I would think about half of your all day vape would be a good place to start. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
