Hi guys - anyone else having this problem?

In addition to the shipping issue (Hong Kong post being weird about batteries and they took forever to get here), the batteries themselves, while definitely the most affordable of any VV eGo, don't work. Not sure if they are made crooked, or if the threading is just flawed, but they won't screw onto a charger. :(

glad you figured it out..I am still trying to get a pic of the threads they want for my TT

tell them you are in Florida and it will take 1 day to get your DEFECT to the returns center for evaluation/credit. Tell them all you need is an RMA to send it out!
Fasttech has good warranty..........they are just a bit thick on communication at times. How is a picture of threads cut at the wrong pitch going to show anything ? Plain dumb.

They will take anything and everything back for a full refund so no worries. Just get the RMA and mail to their Florida address. Save a copy of your postage receipt - they refund for that too. Really solid customer service, but you take a chance on the merchandise. Hey - it's cheap. If they start checking every lot, the prices will go up. So you gamble a bit - worst case scenario is you have to return it and a bunch of time goes by without having the gear you want. I'm learning. If its something you have your heart set on and you want it now (and want to be sure it works), you pay more and get it from a reputable, well-reviewed company here in the states. If you want to save money and don't mind the gamble of maybe waiting forever or dealing with a return once it arrives, then FastTech is the best out there.

That's about my take on it, buy enough stuff and you will get a dud at some point, but with the money I save versus UK prices, even if they didn't refund me for the duds I would come out ahead. Unfortunately being in the UK we have to return to China which slows things down somewhat but then I pay around 1/3 to 1/2 of the shipped UK price so I can live with that fine.
