Your Boge cartos should work fine on your lavatube as long as you set the right voltage. I run the low resistance Boge 2.0s at about 4.3 volts and the standard Boge 3.0 at around 5 volts on my Lavatube. I also run them in tanks so I don't have to top them off.

+1 to Bourbonman's comment.

Steer clear of the dual coils and stick with a single coil carto for VV. Your 3.0 boge should work like a champ with the Lavatube as long as you keep it topped off. You may be burning through liquid too quickly for the carto to keep up. I would consider a tank setup as Bourbonman suggested. Keeps the carto fully wet all the time and allows the VV to shine through most of the voltage settings. I use a VPX tank from Nhaler with a 3.0 boge. I'll cloud a room in minutes at 4.2 on my tube and the TH is awesome.

Just sweep through the voltage settings for a given cart/juice. You'll find low settings that give weak hits and somewhere up the scale you'll find where it is overcooked for your taste. Take your time and experiment and be mindful of the resistance of the carto you are using - low resistance = lower voltage, etc.

Definitely stick as close to the 2.5-3ohm range as possible, with a single coil, no dual coils.

For a tank system, the Vivi Nova V2 or V2.5 is fantastic with the Lavatubes. 3ml capacity, great flavor, easy to fill, never leaks and it comes with replaceable heads. There are no cartomizers to muck up the taste and no holes to punch or enlarge. The initial kit comes with 3 heads and they can be rebuild in 5 minutes for pennies. In fact, it's easier and quicker to re-coil a Vivi Nova head than it is to clean an atomizer or fill a cartomizer. I don't even bother cleaning my heads anymore. I just re-coil them with new wick because it's easier and faster and I don't waste vodka!!

Yes, I have experience with the Vivi Nova and you can't go wrong.

As far as throat hit and vapor, that will also depend on your PG/VG ratio and nic level as well. PG gives more throat hit (and higher nic level), VG will give you more vapor so a good mix of the two for you plus a correct nic level range is advised.

The Vivi Nova (or any high resistance cart/tank, etc) will give you the ability to dial in to your "sweet spot" as some call it.
