I have been mixing my own liquids for the last year and loving it... well, loving the experimentation and vaping part at least, the careful measuring and calculations etc not so much !
. Since I started sub ohming I have had to up my production vastly (though with a lot less nic) and I don't know, something that was a mild annoyance before became a complete chore fast hehe.
Here are a couple of quick and nasty mock ups of version 2 of my ongoing attempts to turn mixing back into something enjoyable for me...
.. I am particularly proud of my masterfully cut electrical tape
Now the only time I have to use a syringe is to measure out 1.7ml of my VG nic base, after that I just pour in my vg until it us up to the top of either the 30/70, 50/50, or 70/30 VG/PG lines (or anywhere in between hehe), drop in my ~2ml of flavours and then pour in pg until I hit the bit in the bottle where it starts to bend inwards (pretty much spot on where 30ml of water added to one of these bottles gave me, handy!).
The 30ml bottles I found for cheapness on fasttech, and to know where to mark them I just subtracted the amount of flavor I use which for me is usually around 2ml, so I have 28ml of nic + mixer left.. multiply by 0.3 for the bottom mark of 30% gives me 8.4ml of pg / water to add to bottle then mark it and empty.. 50/50 comes in at 14ml, and 70/30 is 19.6.
The nic level doesn't actually matter since as long as you put it in first followed by whatever your nic is diluted in it will be right
.. e.g. if I had nicotine mixed with pg then I would add nic first, then pg, then flavours, with vg last.
Sorry if my maths are wrong for working out exact percentages hehe, as you can probably guess the only part of mixing I actually care about getting completely right is the nic %
