Being a newbie, I thought Flavor and Throat hit is what I wanted. Therefore my 1st E-cig was Vapor King (KR808). This is Leaford's 3 favorite. After just 1 day, I figured out what I was lacking - Vapor. I immediately put an order in for Leaford's new top pick, the E9 (Greensmoke, amongst other vendors). Wow, what a vapor machine. Unfortunately, I am now lacking flavor and throat hit.

I am planing on using the Cowboy flavoring (V4L) to refill the E9 cartos. Many agree here that they love this flavor as well. Maybe I can get vapor, taste, and throat hit.

If this doesn't work out that well, I have already a V2 (5V battery body) - Leaford's 2nd favorite. As most all agree, it is a vapor monster. I plan to use the KR8 cowboy cartos in an attempt to achieve the holy grail of vaping - plumes of vapor, great taste, and good throat hit.

Between all 3 Ecigs, extra batteries, and chargers about $400 worth of initial investment is only 3 days. And, I might add, well worth it. I have avoided 120 analogs to this point (and smoked none).

I thanks everyone who has contributed to this forum, especially Leaford.:)

Wow, life was so much easier when you had to choose between a 401, 901 or 801. I quit analogs on the 801 so would always recommend this unit as a starter. The 901 provides a slightly better throat hit and also is recommended. If vapor production and throat hit trump flavor for your taste, then a higer-voltage device would be a good path to follow.

I always thought it was a toss up between PG and VG.

VG with vapor, and PG with flavor/throat hit.

I've found that mixing the two and using a manual passthrough (5v) I get a pretty good mix of all of those things!

I use standard cartos from V4L, but I drop about 3-4 drops of 50/50 water/VG into each carto. This is just enough VG for vapor and not enough to cut flavor/throat hit.

It took me about a week for my body to adjust to vaping. Now when I feel like I need that throat hit for that full lung kinda feeling, I just directly inhale. Upon starting to direct inhale I get massive throat hit, even with unflavored PURE VG!

BTW the new VG cartomizers from V4l put out some pretty good vapor. I've only had them in menthol, which has a good throat hit due to the menthol flavor. They were smoother in the throat then the standards though...

Have you seen the Juice Box? Look it up in the forums. No carts but an integrated fluid bottle that shoots directly onto the atty. The trade off is that it doesn't resemble a cigarette in any way. Its a small box about the size of a pack of 120s with a tip sticking out of one corner.

I'm not too concerned about looks - I want lots of vapor and convenience. With a large battery and no topping off or changing carts its seems to me to be the best way to go (if you are a heavy vaper).

Leaford is the head of product development for VAPOR4LIFE.just letting ya know!!He is in China developing the VK and improved cartos.

Yes I know. That sounds like the perfect job for him - he has found his calling in life. He seems like a very likable guy. I wish him the best of luck.

Yes I know about the juice box. It seems like a great idea. But at this point perhaps a tad inconvenient since you would pretty much have to have it upright most of the time. I like being able to put a smaller version in my pocket for mobility.
