One of my triton tanks was leaking from the bottom. Thought it was cause I over filled it. Right over the 2.4. About 2.5 I only noticed cause when I picked up the tank I saw a wet ring where the tank was. So I cleaned the bottom of the tank and it was on the connection of the battery which I wiped.

So I thought it was probably cause overfilled it. But today I'm trying to finish off the last of my Malibu which is the same tank and same liquid from previously and I just took it off to switch tanks and noticed the connection was wet again. When I wiped the inside ring it had the Malibu and the inside connecting thread of the tank too... there is literally like less than .2 of ml left. Anyone know what's going on here?

Triton tanks do that to me every once in a while. I just take it off the battery and blow through the tip onto a paper towel or something. After a few strong blows, you may end up with a big splat on your towel. That's when you know you nailed it. Just wipe down the connection areas.

A bunch of things can cause it. If it's what I'm thinking of, it's usually called flooding. Most other tanks flood twenty times more often. :)

Yes, now you will want to carry ANOTHER thing in your pockets: a paper towel.:glare:

Strangely, you can't overfill a Triton tank: the center pipe sits higher than the threaded tip.

1) You could have a loose coil: remove the tip, and screw down the coil assembly.

2) If this is your first time with this tank (or a new coil), the coil sleeve needs to be pushed down. You don't need to dump the juice to fix this either, but your e-liquid level must be below 1.6 mL. Remove the tip, unscrew the coil and remove it. Push the silicone sleeve down a bit, then put it all back together. Use gloves to prevent touching the nicotine liquid, which is absorbed through the skin (plus, it'll be messy).

Once you're used to cleaning your tanks and coils, this'll never be a problem again.
