Initially I was thrilled when I ordered both of these, thinking that I would be able to go a whole day in between fills. Come to find out, these would not even last me one whole day due to leakage issues.
Joyetech eGo MEGA cartridges: The item description on this states that it can hold almost 2ml of e-liquid. Well I filled it up with just 1ml of e-liquid by using a syringe. As soon as I am done filling it, I see some of it has leaked on the battery end, so I take a paper towel, wedge it in there to wipe it all off. I then screw it onto my eGo battery and vape, only to find that more leaks out onto my thumb. :(
Joyetech eGo-t type A tank: I fill these with 1ml of e-liquid, same results. It leaks out and even pools the battery. I even tried using the rubber end caps, at the advice of some ECF members, same results.

I would guess that about half of the e-liquid I have used to fill these wind up being wasted due to leakage. Is this normal? Can this damage the battery? Do you know of better eGO MEGA type cartridges and type-A tanks that are made by a different manufacturer? Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions/advice, I really need it :)

How did you fill the ego mega cartomizers?

Here's a good video
Filling an eGo Mega cartomizer - YouTube

Can you get the syringe and get some juice out?

For the ego-T-

How are you filling it?

Hi swedishfish, these are the ones:
Five eGo MEGA empty cartomizers - Genuine Joye

I don't believe that the leaking is caused by overfilling it, since the item description states that it can hold almost 2ml of e-liquid and i am only using 1ml. I stick the syringe in all the way, as I am filling it, I slowly pull the syringe out little by little and turn the carto a bit at the same time...

For the eGo-T type A tank, I take off the end cap completely then fill, leaving a lot of room at the top, put the end cap back on. Then I push it into the eGo-T type A atomizer until I feel the puncture.

Can the pooling of the e-liquid on the battery damage it?

It probably won't do it any good, but you can clean the battery with some iso. alcohol.

When you pierce the tank with the atty, is it all the way pierced. Do you see that little hanging chad thing. Did you line up the atomizer with the tank when you put it back on?

When you stick the syringe in, did you feel it pierce the film or whatever it is? And sort of tilt the needle to the side?
Yes, I punctured through the seal with a bobby pin, since my syringe has a blunt end. Oh no, I didn't tilt the needle to the side, didn't realize that I was supposed to. The hole is just big enough as the diameter of the syringe, so how do I tilt the syringe?

Yup, it is pierced and there is a little flap that hangs inside the tank
