Hi all. I need some help here. I have a battery and I have recently switched to atomizers with the wick at the bottom. I have found that they are much smoother and don't hurt my throat. Yeah!

But they all seem to leak. Leak so much so that I am getting juice in my mouth with every hit. Why?

I have an EV-vapor brand. Several in fact. I turn my battery off when I'm not vaping and clean with alcohol after they leak.

The atomizers are kind of spendy at $8 per since I'm buying a new one every week. Also going through tons of juice.

What at am I doing wrong?

I got these inexpensive store brand clearomizers and like them. I guess everyone else does, too, because they only have the purple color in stock now. Here is a link:

Detach atomizer from device and wipe juice out of the 510 connection. Remove drip tip and clean/blow any juice out. Should be good again. It's just part of vaping and the nature of the beast... with cheap atomizers. Try rewicking with cotton if your able to and it should help.

Here is my set up. I guess its a clearomizer not an atomizer. I have no idea if I can replace anything.

Looks like a rebranded or cloned Kanger EVOD battery like this:

ElectronicStix.Com · Kanger EVOD 650mAh Starter Kit

but with a different clearo instead of an EVOD clearo. I doubt its a Protank as a B&M wouldn't sell those for only $8.00. But, I'm sure you can buy heads separately. You just have to ask the vendor what clearo it is. You could send your picture to electronicstix or another vendor who carries the EVOD kit. If you don't want to do that, just buy an EVOD clearo as it should fit the threading on your battery and see if the head from it works in what you already have... if so, Bingo!

I don't know what to advise Ive had evods and protanks and they all have problems (they use the same coils), still very popular for some strange reason and people continue to recommend them. This place has endless with threads about evods, protanks and protanks mini problems.

Some people blame the juice (too high pg%) others the coil and on and on.... they just don't work right. They are good when they work but most of the time they leak and gurgle.

Some say the BDC-Aspire is better I have no idea.

The world of vaping is not user friendly yet and is only really the high end stuff that works.

My cheap budget recommendation get a kayfun lite clone and itaste mvp2 or something like vamo, learn how to make micro coil (takes 30 mins) and you are problem free and no dishing out cash on crappy coils.

If you have an endless pit of cash get a dna or a provari and a real kayfun lite.

Just bought this Kanger Starter Kit for $38. Seems like a good deal and a lot less expensive than buying an $8 tank and $20 worth of juice each week. God I hope it works. Seems like in the 7 weeks since I gave up cigs that I've spent $200 trying to get it right. Still cheaper than smoking though. Thanks for your advice and support!

Its the same thing you already have, it uses the same coil. You can buy evod coils and put them in the protank you already have.

Not quite...

That is a Kanger kit, the other was a rebranded clone kit. I might make a difference....

(My mini Protanks do not leak.... I have 5, all Kanger....)

Everything kanger Ive had has been bad evods and protank 3, leaks, gurgles and brunt taste. Never ending story, not all juices work, tried removing top wicks, re-coiling them myself with a micro coil and cotton, replacing and adding o-rings nothing works.

Better too just get a kayfun lite or kayfun mini and be problem free.
