Did it leak when you were refilling? Keep the air flow closed when you refill.

Were you using sub ohm coils or rebuilding yourself?
I just got it a few days ago and it hasn't leaked since even with the airflow open. I've had a few tfv's in the past and I never close the airflow and the only leaking problem I ever had was if the top opened up in my pocket. I use the coils ... If I rebuild it's with a rda I don't like rtas. Why do people have problems with it leaking by keeping the airflow open only problem with leaking I ever had was if it was a cheep tank or with the last one I dropped it and it was bent a little so there was a little leaking here or there.

Some tanks create huge vacuums while vaping. When you open that topper to refill it just backwashes and leaks from the change of pressure. I've had the same problem with a rebuildable Smok tank (TF-RTA G4) that ...... fluid out like a sieve if I refilled with the airflow open.
sorry didn't mean to comment on ur post I thought it was on my thread. Notification popped up didn't read the entire notification

No my Beast dosen't leak at all with the pre-built coils, though I'm using max VG which might help that. Also I leave the airflow open when I fill from the top. Some tanks have airflows that seal well others don't. If they don't seal well then it makes little difference closed or not. Haven't yet tried the RBA in it.

Hi Mongo
Just a small change to what you said. Tanks don't build up "huge vacuums" while vaping. They have very small vacuums created by the weight of the liquid in the tank. The reduction of air pressure in the top of the tank is equal to the weight of the liquid thus preventing the liquid from flowing. When you break the top seal then as you said the change in air pressure allows the liquid to flow.
