I'm doing the testing for my wife and I to learn the most practical usage of our 801's and identify the pitfalls. I'm experimenting with the mixes and nicotine strengths, etc.

Atomizers are a mysterious area. Sometimes they quit vaping because they're too dry, sometimes because they're too wet. The other day I had to drip on the bridge because it became too dry.

Today, it was working okay when I put in a fresh cartridge of a differnet flavor. All the sudden, no vapor. I couldn't understand how it could be dry so I pulled the atomizer and stood it upside down on a small vial. After an hour, I had collected 0.15 ml in the vial. Upon reassembly, it vaped like a champ.

Hi, it's taken me quite a while to figure mine out. I started with fresh charged battery. I drip fill my cartridge until it absorbs no more. I also push the wool down and then pull it up to even the liquid out. If it's not vaping well, I take the cartridge off and smoke the atomizer until there's very little vapor. Then I put the cartridge back on.
Sometimes you need to blow out the atomizer on a paper towel. Sometimes you vaped several times too close together. If my atomizer feels hot, I stop for a few minutes and let it cool down.
Sometimes you just have to spend a day and figure out what's what.
