Leave carts on stored attys?

Somebody mentioned this before, is it a standard practice, and more importantly, will it do my atty any harm?

I have a menthol/Double mint atty that I don't use a lot and it is just stored, no cart or anything, would it be better to leave a damp cart on it?

I do this often... probably too often.

While you might run a higher risk of flooding the atty, I really don't think there are any other major problems.

After all, in a cartomizer (like the GreenCig) the cartridge is always installed on the atty.... right?

Ah, now I hadn't considered that at all.

I shall leave my minty menthol atty with a damp-ish cart on it from now on.

Cartomizers "drain" differently than standard cart/atty combos - I think you could start to flood a bit with the standard cart/atty. Any length of time might start drying/thickening the juice too.

I save the original mouth piece they ship with and reuse that to get any chit from getting in there.

I agree with you if you're talking about the KR808D-1 style cartos.. but the Greencigs have an internal cartridge and a wick. All they are missing is the mesh and the ceramic coil pot.
