I've got a 510 battery that holds a charge for many hours, but it's missing its nifty little plastic cover over the LED. I've also got another 510 battery that was basically DOA when I got it.

It's not really important, but does anyone know how to remove the LED cover from the dead one and replace it on the good one?

I figured I'd ask the experts before I go destroying it trying to get it off.

yes, they pop off pretty easily...
Another nifty thing I found is take the white tip out of the end of a throwaway 510 and use it for a battery tip.. the white plastic with center hole is kinda cool and it helps me keep track of which batt I'm lookin at:)

OUTSTANDING IDEA !!!

I have been looking for a replacement end cap for one of my batteries. The mouth tip of a Cartomizer fit like a glove. I hit the end of it with some 320 sandpaper and a Black Sharpie marker and it looks perfect.
