Led resistor

Can anyone tell me which side of the led to put the resistor the positive or the negative?

positive, that's the longer lead coming off the LED

Doesn't technically matter, I used to always use +, now, knowing that electricity flows from - to +, I always use -... but never had a problem with the ones wired to +....

Yup. And putting it on the negative leg means you only need one resistor to wire a 3 leg bi-color LED.

It doesn't matter, but if you are using a multicolor LED, the negative leg will save you a resistor.
