The first coil and wick I used worked amazingly well. I was in love with my Lemo. Now I'm using the same style coil (standard 6 wrap 26ga Kanthal @ 2.4mm) and I'm using a 5mm cotton wick (same brand as first). I've gone through a full tank and still get muted flavor with cotton taste. What am I doing wrong????

Likely too much cotton through the coil, making the coil choke the cotton so it can't wick properly. Also, do you have the cotton blocking the juice holes? Make sure to fan your wick out against the deck, the juice wells should be clear to pull liquid in from outside the chimney.
