Hoping someone can help me out here. Got the lemo drop and was loving it. Switched the cotton after about a week, still great. Third cotton switch, out started leaking every time I filled it. About 1ml out of the bottom where the airflow valve is. Switched the cotton again thinking it was a bad wick. But the same thing.

After it leaks this ml, it doesn't leak again for the rest of the tank. Any ideas why I'm getting this initial leak?

Look forward to your help and thanks ahead of time.

Sounds like you have a leak in the tank. Make sure there is a seal in place at both ends of the glass tank, and that there is a small black o-ring below the threads on the upper chimney section where it screws into the top cap. If these things are ok, your wicking may be the problem, and there may not be enough of it.

According to their manual(who reads them anyway), after you get your build ready use something(screwdriver or tweezers) to make sure your cotton is in the juice channels. Maybe try that and hope it helps.

It sounds suspiciously like my first experience with the Lemo. It leaked at the start of a tank full and then it would stop. Someone here suggested I look at my o-rings. Turns out, I had forgotten to put back the white o-ring that sits in the top cap (where the glass meets the cap). I found it sitting on a paper towel (nicely camouflaged), where I had left it to dry after my initial cleaning. Do you rinse it between re-wickings? It may have fallen out un-noticed.

ETA: Sometimes, it sticks to the glass when you take it apart. If you don't notice it while rinsing, you might lose it (almost happened to me).

I have read that before and certainly have tried to pay attention to them. But yeah seeing as how they're white, I guess a double check is warranted lol.

How are you filling the tank? If you are filling thru the screw from the bottom, and you are filling with a plastic bottle the pressure will squeeze juice out of the base. It will flood the deck area and when you put everything back together that juice has nowhere to go but out the airflow!

Yes I am using a needle nose plastic bottle

I hold it at about a 60* angle and fill until there's a good bit of a bubble still in view. :)

Ok so when done, when you straighten it back out where does that fall on the glass? You may be right, I have been filling it to where the metal meets with the glass.
