Out of all the juice types I've tried, I really like a creamy, lemony juice that has the taste of cake/cookie/some type of baked dessert. Maybe even cheesecake. I've tried Alice in Vapeland's Lemon Loves Cake and I like it a lot but I haven't really tried it from other vendors. The Lemon Sponge Cake from Juicy Vapor is pretty blah... steeping now but not my thing. I know Vaporbeast has a Divine Lemon Cake and Mountain Oak Vapors also has one. Who has the best (for those who have tried)?

The Vapor Room has a Lemon Meringue that I like, but it isn't very complex. I do get the 'lemon' off it but the 'meringue' doesn't seem to be there for me. Still, it's a very clean (not fake) lemon flavor. I really like this one as a palate cleanser, of sorts, to take a break from all the heavier bake/sweet flavors.

Might want to watch TVR's weekly specials and check it out when it comes up in rotation the next time. :2c:

Actually, I might have an unopened bottle in my stash. If I do I'll fire up a clean atty and see if it's any more complex with (weeks of) steeping. I have so much stuff on hand right now I forgets what I gots. lol

OTOH: If there was something I suggest you avoid at all costs it would be Lemon Square from Spring Vapor. Overwhelming fake Lemon Pledge right out of the bottle. Even worse six months later. YARK!

Ok, you made me do it. Dig, dig, dig - there it is! TVR Lemon Meringue with a single flavor shot. 100 VG, 24 mg. Steeping since, ummm.... July? June? (I really do need to cut down on my purchases.) Nice clean new SR atty. Put it together and whaddya get?

Yeah, this is much better the second time around. And with - ahem - an "appropriate" amount of steep time. lol At 3.7 volts the lemon is all there but there is also a custard behind it. (I would say the ratio of lemon to custard is 60/40.) And I know what that custard is: TVR has a vanilla custard flavor and I'm 99% sure that is what they combined with the lemon to produce this.

At higher voltage - 4.0 to 4.2 volts the vanilla custard becomes more pronounced. Honesty, I like it better with a SR device at the lower voltage. (Keep in mind I'm using 100 VG here too.)

So that is what you would get with TVR's Lemon Meringue: A clean, not fake lemon with a vanilla custard type flavor behind it.

I love lemons but with every nic juice I've ever tried they all remind me of how lemon dishsoap smells

Ewww - I feel your pain. (See "Lemon Square".) I don't know what would be worse: Lemon Joy or Lemon Pledge.

I still have 7ml's left in that 10 ml bottle of Lemon Square. I can't bring myself to even consider giving it away.

Yes, I've tried a couple of lemon vapes that were just too artificial or harsh or tasted and smelled like dishwashing detergent. I've tried the Lemon Creme Puff from Pure Vapes, which was good, but the pastry and creme flavor didn't really come out for me. It tastes like a slightly creamy and sweet lemon. The Lemon Ice from Mister E's is delicious if you like menthol, but no bakery flavors in it.

The Lemon Sponge Cake from Juicy Vapor was terrible imo. I'm afraid to try it again, I didn't like it when I tried it unsteeped. It tastes like dishwashing detergent drizzled into a bowl of cereal with soggy corn flakes and stale milk.

Anyhow... I just ordered the Lemon Poundcake from Tasty Vapor and Lemon Cake from Mountain Oak Vapors. Hoping they're both distinctly different but equally awesome!! If not, I guess I'll pick up another Lemon Loves Cake from Alice in Vapeland, I really enjoyed it last time when I tried it in a sampler.

Most vendors I know of allow customer creations. What I would do is pick a vendor that you enjoy lemon from, Mister E for example, and see if they will make you a lemon cake. I haven't seen one vendor that has said no.

You know what's fun? Mt. Baker Vapor has a "build a bottle" option. You pick your PG/VG base and nic level and add any combination of flavors you want in any percentages. (At least any percentages that add up to 100%) It's a menu based option so you can do it right there and order without having to ask by e-mail. Some times it's scary. Some times it's scary good. But you have no one else to blame if you think lemon/clove/banana/menthol sounds like I good idea. lol

True, ECBlend does the same thing. I have never made anything awesome... ever. But I still enjoy trying. I think she should start with someone who has a lemon she enjoys, see if they have a "create your own" and if not e-mail them.

Ok so I got my 3 lemon cake type juices. Here are my first impressions. I tried dripping them but I think they could all use a steep before final thoughts.

Lemon Cake from Mountain Oak Vapors - Smells EXACTLY like a fresh piece of lemon meringue pie. It does have that strong sweet lemon taste (like those lemonheads candy) with a slight scent of vanilla and pastry. The sweet lemon smell is much more dominant than the cake taste. It smells more like a lemon bar than a lemon "cake".

Lemon Poundcake from Tasty Vapor - This definitely has more of a bakery/cakey smell with a hint of lemon than the one from MOV. It smells rich and buttery. Could use a bit more lemon but smells pretty good.

"Lemon Pastry" from ECBlends (30% lemon, 10% whipped cream, 30% cookie, 30% pie crust) - Very similar in smell to the lemon poundcake, except it smells more "crispy" than moist, very much like how a croissant or pastry does rather than a slice of cake or piece of cookie. I attribute this to the smell of something almost fried or greasy rather than the baked/eggy taste. This was a create your own.

Will come back with updates once they steep for a moment. They all smell divine though! I'm curious to find out which one is the tastiest. If none of them please my picky palette, I will order the Lemon Loves Cake from Alice in Vapelands again, because I did really enjoy that one and I hear they are having a sale towards the end of November. I will be there for that!!
