Lemon gum drop mouth

That's the only way I can describe the title to this thread. I've only been vaping for 22 days but the analogues are gone forever, I love my Lava Tube, I'm a tank guy and vape everywhere.

I'm happy except for one thing when I've hard a period of heavy vaping my mouth feels like I've been sucking sour lemon drops all day.

Is this normal? Any advice? Yeah, Yeah I know the juice goes into the tank before it gets into my mouth LAM

Just after I started, it was my throat that was dry and scratchy for a while. My mouth was alive with all the newfound tastes it was rediscovering though!

If you're talking about that sensation where you feel like the inside of your mouth has been all chewed up but not in a painful way, then I had that for a week or so. I found that having a glass of water nearby helped some, but really I think it was time that took care of it.

It was at about that point that I had my first big resurgence of my sense of taste. It seemed that overnight everything just got so much more intense. Perhaps this lemon gum drop mouth is a symptom of your tongue repaving itself?

My input anyway, for what it's worth.

I've always got something to drink close by water, tim's or D Coke.

I like the (repaving) to ...I had a day at about the 9 or 10 day mark that had me thinking about my old habbits (cigs) I could not taste a thing and felt like I was not getting anything out of my vaping..ahhh! ...I tried everything ...the only thing that worked for me was my old friend 24mg Menthol BAM!!! did that for about 4 hours that eve and went to bed..when I woke up
my taste buds were alive!!...all my juice tasted as it did before if not better...at lunch I had a can of Muggs rootbeer OMG!!
I had not remembered the last time I tasted anything so dang good!

after reeding here a lot I seam to notice a lot of people use menthol to get there taste budds back to boot camp!

Jonathan, thanks I've seen the "Menthol wash" somewhere else and I guess I'm going to have to order me some. I'll let you know.

I went through the dry, scratchy throat and lemon drop mouth as well. Even developed a smoker's cough for a couple weeks. Just different stages of getting used to ejuice, I guess. I bought some of Juggie's mentholatar and Jokesmoke Classic and found they both work well to straighten out the taste buds again. They both have a nice mild flavor.

Its not a hair pie mouth...smoother more metallic. As far as the flavours I'm vaping its mostly RY4 with bits of Swedish Pastry and whatever is close by.

First i give you +1 for the Lavatube (if it is Version one) +3 for a fellow tank lover (have you tried vapor geeks aluminum ones? killer karts on those), but *sigh* i have to take those back as you have Timmies? Get yourself some real coffee.....like say oh my favorite trucker style or robins doughnuts (joking here).

When i was in Plattsburgh New York for six months i guess you can see i was in Timmies Rehab? When i got back and even being a smoker i noticed the coffee alone had that same effect on me. I am not sure what they put in there coffee as at one time they were caught with putting nicotine and MSG in there (let the trolls have fun telling me i am wrong).....

now on the same token you said you have had other drinks on hand, so i am curious on if you have experienced this with just pg/vg products? have you tried the 100% vg stuff? still the same effect?

the only other thing i can think of, is it being 22 days into it (congrats by the way) maybe the nicotince from cigarette smoke is flushing out of your system and this effect is a re-animation of your taste buds?

Thanks tons. I'm going to try switching from coffee to black tea and ditch the diet coke for perrier see how that works ...oh yes that menthol wash got to get some of that juice.

Try grabbing a occasional Power Aide (Ion 5, say the fruit punch?), and what about the occasional ginger aie? If you can hold out till the 15th of July, i have 10ml of unopened "Brrrrr...Frozen Cherry" From jug heads (unless i grab two envelopes and stick one stamp on it? and mail snail mail) you are welcome to for menthol....never did like the stuff even when i was a smoker......and the Cherry one i have here, it could be me but i taste As-pertain in it, that stuff is EWWWW again this is my taste buds only.....and if you want it, let me know it is 18mg nic

I used to be in Ontario, but now i am in Winnipeg....umm, I had bought two bottles of the stuff, one is opened, and i am going to include that in my flu kit as i found when sick even from Allergies, this is good to have and make you feel better, besides the other bottle i am going to use for drip on a atty that has been set aside for it and it alone, i have other flavors (that have been opened) that i cannot use..but i am holding off using them as i would prefer to have a emergency e-juice storage of about 70ml's.

A trade? I was going to do it as a Pay it Forward, as i will just get a envelope and stamp and off it goes to your address (could take up to 6 days)...but if you want to trade, and being someone who loves Native Legends (well any legends of course), if there are any you know, and have the time to type them out, i would love to read them....there is a fair trade i think

But like i said, and if you can have them without you getting sick to your stomach, like i said try the power aid, and ginger ale.....when used in tandum, i found they where really good when first coming off the cigg's and hitting the pv hard core. I believe (could be wrong here) that when even the smallest amount of dehydration sets in, the mouth is the first to have the effects so these two wonder drinks helps top you up as it were.........

Oh silly word of advice.....do not set your PV or APV so close to your bed (like a night stand), or in the case of your lava tube, leave it on stand by......you may tend to sleep toout......(no i mean the pv touting)

Just adding my

This happens to me on occasion as well. +1 for the Mentol juice. Every once in a while I need to vape a carto of menthol because nothing else works. It kicks everything back into sync and by the time I'm done with that carto I'm good to go back to my other stuff.

Thas me to a tee!!!!...I have a CE3 clearo with 24mg Menthol and if everything eles is not working I use that and it sends my taste buds back to boot camp lol!
