Length of time Steeping depends on size of bottle?

Hello y'all. I've read somewhere that the length of time if takes a juice to 'Matures' while steeping depends on the size of the bottle that the ejuice is steeping in. For instance a 10ml bottle of Boba's will take less time to Steep and Mature than a 30ml bottle! Is this true?

If I want some of my ejuice to mature faster I should put it in a smaller bottle?
