Lenser flashlight mod?

I want to make my first flashlight mod. I have a LED Lenser 7736D flashlight, purchased from Home Depot. This one:

I am having problems figuring out how to disassemble it without damaging it. I found one post about this type of flashlight, but no directions or photos of the guts:

Does anyone have more info on how to disassemble it properly?

Since there doesn't appear to be a seam on the end by the lens, there is more than likely a lock nut ring
on the inside around the contact for the battery. The end with the lens should unscrew from the main body,
then look at the inside of the threads where the body screws in. If there is a ring with 2 holes opposite of
each other, then unscrew that and everything should come out.

Without pictures, that's just a guess.

I actually saw one at lowes today, and it looks like only the bottom unscrews. So Id say take the 3 aaa battery pack out and use a socket to tap it out. Thats what it looks like to me.
